Mhambi - The Traveller B&B
Colourful, private and secure, Mhambi cottage lies at the top of George Street looking up to Makanas Kop in Grahamstown. The self-catering cottage offers accommodation for up to three people, and is ideal for a visiting academic or international traveller as the cottage is situated within walking distance of both town and campus.
The stone-walled cottage features a single bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and an open-plan lounge and kitchen. The warm Oregon-pine kitchen work surface overlooks a clivia and tree fern shade garden. The spacious interior embraces Latin American and African elements reflected in its pictures and artworks, and a self-service continental breakfast is provided in the fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is nestled in a largely indigenous garden with stone and pebble pathways, and secure off-street parking is also available.
