Nestled against the edge of the natural forest at the foot of the mountain and The Bonnet Pass, overlooking Graskop town and the spectacular eastern Mpumalanga escarpment, this quaint secluded single self catering chalet offers cozy accommodation for 2 to 4 guests.
The open-plan thatch roof chalet with its rustic ambiance can accommodate between two and four guests on a queen-size bed and two single mattresses on the small loft/attic room, which is ideal and great fun for children. The bathroom consists of a bath we provide soap, toilet paper, linen, pillows, blankets and towels.
The kitchenette is equipped with a two-plate stove, a microwave, a small fridge, cutlery and crockery. The chalet also has a TV and OpenviewHD satellite decoder as indoor entertainment for those chilly or foggy days. A portable grid is available for a braai and guests can relax on the veranda or the lawn and just enjoy the sunrises or sunsets towards Gods Window. Although guests are generally responsible for cleaning and tidying of the chalet during their stay, we can arrange daily cleaning services at a small additional cost.
For the energetic, guests can hike up the mountain, go horse riding, mountain biking, quad biking, do the 4x4 trails, go fishing or birdwatching. Guests can also visit God's Window, the Kruger National Park, Pilgrims Rest or the Blyde River Canyon.

"We really loved our stay here. The kids were thrilled with sleeping up in the loft and playing in the stream in the lovely garden. Equipment in the kitchen is a little dated but still feel I would have happily paid a lot more for our stay."
"What a amazing little, cozy spot! Will go back any time. And the lady who is the owner, what a gem! Perfect retreat for a couple just looking to get away and very very affordable, and close to town and the outdoor activities!"
"Everything was just perfect. Jackie, hostess and kind lady."
"The flowers and fresh scones made us feel very welcome"
"The loveliest little cottage, exactly like on the pictures. The host Jackie is amazing and such a delight. There were freshly baked scones and freshly picked flowers from the garden waiting for us in the kitchen. Will most certainly stay here again when in the area. The kids loved the loft to sleep in, they had such fun and they enjoyed the huge garden. Thank you Jackie for everything."
"The bathroom was filthy and the kitchen could do with a good clean. Crockery and cutlery included."
"Our stay was really wonderful. The little chalet is comfy and cosy, just what is needed for a break away from the hustle. It is so perfectly located. We spent everyday cruising between the small towns and enjoyed everything the surrounding area had to offer. Indeed a wonderful stay."
"This place is ideal for two people who want to get away from everything. Very private and quiet. A bit small for two adults with children, even though there is 2 beds in the loft area. No television. Small screen with DVD player - take your own DVDs. There is internet access. The privacy, peacefulness and view is definitely the main attraction here!"
"Jackie left a note on the door to collect the key from the main house. She personally accompanied us to unlock and show us. There were fresh scones with jam and grated cheese, as well as fresh flowers in the unit. We found the cottage comfortable for the two nights we stayed. It was quite cold, but the oil heater made it comfortable. The cottage provided a private comfortable space that was well located for our purposes."
"the welcome was wonderful.my wife and I really enjoy enjoined our stay!"
"They could possibly consider putting TV in the room. It was however ideal for us as the wife and I wanted to visit with each other and did not miss the TV but we might want to go up with our little ones as well and then we would have to keep them busy"
"The cottage smelt a bit damp and mouldy, but the location is perfect withe a beautiful garden. for a stop over from Joburg to kruger a nice place"
"Lovely thatched cottage in the owner's quiet garden. Friendly host - thanks for the muffins!"
"We were looking for something small and secluded but on standard.<br/>The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, and will for sure return there.<br/>Highly recommended!<br/>"
"The quaint accommodation was as expected - the garden twice as big! Whilst it rained heavily during the time we were there we enjoyed our stay immensely. The cottage was self contained down to the videos & wireless (no TV - thank goodness)We were able to braai under the extended roof - even in the rain. Close to Graskop and not far from Pilgrim's Rest."
"My boyfriend and I went away for the weekend and we absolutely loved our stay. Thank you very much!"
"Neat little place with great views. Will definitely stay there again."
"Die plekkie was klein maar ons het dit baie geniet, selfs toe my dogter en haar man daar was. Die eienaar was ook baie gaaf"
