Favour Farm Cottages

Favour Farm Cottage is located on a farm just outside of Groot Brak River, on the way to George. The farm offers self-catering accommodation in thee well-equipped cottages. Favour is the ideal vacation place for families looking for a quiet break from the crowd and still be close to the ocean.

The three cottages all overlook the dam. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and one or two bedrooms. We provide all bedding and towels; guests only need to bring their own beach towels. Each cottage has a balcony with braai facilities overlooking the dam, which has plenty of black bass for fishing.

We invite guests to come relax and enjoy the tranquility of this setting. This is the ideal accommodation option for nature lovers, golfers, mountain bikers and families.

"We had a wonderfully peaceful rest at this lovely venue. The bird life is amazing and listening to all the animals and watching their coming and going was a treat. There was no noise from any traffic or other human activity. Clean, well maintained, well equipped facility. Every need has been catered for and the kitchen equipment and linen are of great quality. My husband caught a number of bass and spent many hours fishing in the dam which is easy to reach. The owners leave you in peace and are most friendly and obliging."

"We had a lovely stay at Jonqua Farm Cottages. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything to make it comfortable. The only addition that we would recommend is a fan in the bedroom."

"A very pleasant cottage with a lot of thought put into it. The dirt road turn off could do with a sign at the turn,and gauze on the windows would keep the flies outside. Fans would also be appreciated. All in all, an enjoyable stay."

"We had an absolutely great weekend at Jonqua Farm and will certainly reside at there again. It was absolutely bliss to get away for the weekend and what better way to spend the weekend so close to nature. Our accommodation was clean, neat and rather luxurious. Although the weather was miserable, this only contributed to a fantastic weekend. Thanks."
