Bluegum Hill is set on the slopes of Signal Hill with its indigenous bluegum trees, aloes and guinea fowl. We offer peace and tranquillity close to the heart of the Mother City, Seapoint and the waterfront. There are panoramic views of Robben Island, V&A Waterfront and the harbour.
Africa's colourful history and warmth are reflected in the artistic dcor, relaxed atmosphere and friendly hospitality. We offer single, double, twin and queen-size bedrooms, all en-suite and equipped with hairdryers, heaters, radio-alarm clocks, wall safes and other practicalities. We offer complimentary refreshments available 24 hours.
There are wooden floors, Persian carpets and your hosts' warm hospitality to ensure a happy and comfortable stay. Generous full English breakfasts with a difference are served outdoors when the weather permits. Relax on the sundeck next to the sparkling saltwater pool and thatched bomas.
The guest house is owner run, bright and clean with excellent service with a smile. Tourist information, tours, car hire and airport transfers are gladly arranged.
"Hosts were extremely hospitable and accommodating regarding our requests. Accommodation was clean, tidy and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious."
"Very nice place. The view from the balcony is even better than the pictures. The owners and staff are such lovely people. I stayed there during Easter and the Two Oceans marathon. The owners made sure that I had something to eat early in the morning before my run and we even got chocolate Easter bunnies on Easter Sunday.

The house is also great! You might forget that you are not home."
"Aissa at Bluegum was fantastic. Friendly, great breaky, lovely staff and gorgeous room. Would definitely recommend this great Guesthouse. 10 out if 10. Thanks again Aissa for everything."
"Great place: very friendly and helpful people and the most awesome view."
"My wife and I Pauline stayed with the Sisters between the 16th and 20th march albeit in the adjacent penthouse apartment (Bluegum was full) taking breakfast with the rest of the guests.
We found Bluegum exactly as described and the food excellent. Should any reader be offered the chance to stay in the Penthouse, grab it. There can not be better views in Cape Town.
It was a fitting end to a wonderful holiday having spent over two weeks touring the length of the garden route, thank you girls."
