Our guesthouse is situated on the slopes of the mountain in Somerset West and offers large, comfortable rooms with incredible views of the ocean and mountains and spacious guest facilities.
Stay in a quiet, secure residential suburb in Somerset West within easy reach of all the Helderberg Basin has to offer. We are conveniently located close to all major exits in Somerset West with an easy commute to several major attractions such as the Stellenbosch wine route, beautiful beaches in the Strand and Gordons Bay, nature trails in the Helderberg Reserve, premium golf courses and historic wine farms.
Guests have their own private entrance hall and stairway to the guest wing upstairs.
There is a large lounge, dining room and kitchenette area with fridge, toaster and microwave available exclusively for the use of our guests.
False Bay View offers luxury accommodation in Somerset West at an affordable price. Secure off street parking on our walled and gated premises.

12 February 2013"Home from home! We have just returned from a five week UK holiday and stayed in many 4/5 star accommodation but found False Bay View accommodation by far superior in every way. The exceptionally large room was beautifully furnished with good antique pieces, very good quality crips white linen and fresh towels daily. Katinka served five star breakfasts and Francois was a very attentive, and friendly host. Only complaint was that out stay was too short ! If anybody is in Somerset West and does not choose False Bay View for accommodation, then it will be their loss."
