The Ocean View Hotel have proudly hosted various International Sports Groups this year whom visited South Africa for the Rural Cricket World Championship as well as the ICC Womens World Cup Qualifying Tournament and is also looking forward to welcome various SA Athletics teams and SA Wrestling Teams. The hotel has certainly become very popular for sports groups after recent refurbishments to the bedrooms. The Ocean View Grill, overlooking the entire false bay, offer mouthwatering lunch buffets on Fridays and Sundays and is still one of the best venues to enjoy sunset cocktails at the waters edge.

21 October 2013"I was disappointed at the hotel. For starters in the confirmation letter it was stated that check-in time was 1300. Upon arrival after 1400 I was told that the room was not ready yet.The parking was also a complete disaster. My husband had to move the car 3 times. That was after the parking was shown to us by one of the hotel employees.There were no shampoo, bath & shower gel or shower cap provided in the bathroom. There was also only 1 glass and 1 face towel despite the fact that they clearly know that 2 people will occupy the room.The breakfast was also pretty basic. They could not even provide muesli or any other jam but apricot.Although the breakfast was supposed to be until 10:30 they started cleaning up just after 10:00 which included the coffee. It seemed as if they function on a tight budget."
