  "We absolutely loved our stay at Woodmere Lodge and regret that we only got to spend one night there. It is perfect for a large group and offers plenty of space and privacy. The view is stunning and the house is very well equipped.We would definitely recommend Woodmere Lodge for anyone who visits Magoebaskloof and the surrounding areas."

  "I wish I could upload pictures of this placeHere is a snippet of my complaint which has not been dealt with yet by owner or service providerI want a refund as it was so revolting:We were booked to stay 18, 19 and 20 April but sadly ended up only staying 18 April or rather not sadly as it was hazardous. We were aware that we were not in the main house but rather in the cottage. You will see the pictures below are appalling. 1. Missing tiles in kitchen2. Mould in the bedroom cornice3. Side of the bath missing with dangerous nails poking out 4. Mould and spiders in the shower (duplicated picture) 5. Picture hooked and holes in walls 6. Excrement on bedroom curtains 7. Mould and missing cornice in bedroomThis excludes the fact that there were no mirrors (I did my hair in front of my iPad camera), the plugs did not have socket covers (safety hazard) and bed was not a double (how to you expect 2 adults to sleep in a 3/4?), there was no heating, no spare bedding, windows in the bathroom tied up with string, the room was not serviced. After 1 horrendous night, we left for magoebaskloof hotel.The owner saw us arrive, and said 'I hope you'll be ok there' - hidden meaning now we wonder. I have never stayed in such a place, not fit for renting out on your website. And not fit for ruining your reputation. We have been satisfied in the past, but this leaves your name tarnished and your brand damaged."

  "We had a wonderful stay here, very peaceful, a wonderful place to get away from the city and just relax. The 2 dogs, calf and lamb were great to have around..our girls just loved them. Amazing views. The home had everything, we just missed a microwave but it was kitted out with everything else we needed and more."

  "This is a spacious and well appointed home on a stunning piece of property. The views are superb. It is reached via a very muddy track through a verdant forest that echoes with birdsong. If you love misty vistas and privacy, this is the perfect getaway."
