Boutique Guesthouse Hanover

It has once been said that travel is like love, mostly because of its heightened state of awareness, in which we are mindful, receptive, undimmed by familiarity and ready to be transformed. That is why a visit to Boutique Guesthouse Hanover, like the best love affairs, never really ends.

The Boutique Guesthouse is located in Hanover, a small, yet picturesque Karoo town located on the N1. Staying true to the heart of every traveler, this experience promises to be nothing short of extraordinary taste and interior art colliding with the vastness of the Karoo landscape and sentiment.

This is a home away from home. The friendly, helpful staff will take great care to cater to your every need and ensure a comfortable stay. The seven decadent suites open onto a private patio with hospitality and service at its best. The front porch overlooks the majestic church building, true Karoo sacredness only a few feet away. Luxury features include spacious rooms, en-suite bathrooms and selected features for the true connoisseur.

Rooms include flat screen TVs with DStv, air conditioning, bar fridges, safes, tea and coffee facilities and bathroom amenities. Our guests will enjoy free Wi-Fi. Each room and living space speaks of the finest decorum and stays true to the nostalgic, traditional Karoo houses - having simplicity, elegance and a sense of space.

Boutique Guesthouse Hanover prouds itself to serve authentic Karoo dishes with a twist, ranging from mutton tails, so-called skaapstertjies, to lamb shanks. We accommodate most dietary requirements, such as vegetarian needs, with ingredients that are readily available.

Let the dust settle on your skin and embark on a journey to where the open road spills into a painted sky. At Boutique Guesthouse Hanover we open our hearts, doors and quite a few minds.

  • "How welcome our 3 dog children were!"

    02 January 2018

"Beautiful guesthouse in Hanover. Perfect for stop on the drive from Cape Town to Warden. We arrived later than expected and was phoned regularly from the guesthouse to check we are ok on the road and if we need any assistance. It was no problem for her to wait up for us and welcome us to our accommodation for the night."

  • "Unexpected Oasis"

    07 September 2017

"The Boutique Guesthouse was a spectacular experience. It has been immaculately renovated, decorated and fitted, with all the creature comforts one could hope for (even electric blankets). The decor was stunning! The staff were unbelievably professional and courteous, and saw to our every need.I did have one gripe (and it certainly didn't mar my overall experience): The dinner was VERY expensive. I had a T-Bone steak, with potato wedges and salad, and a glass of house wine. My husband, a vegetarian, had wedges with some veg and a salad, and an Appletiser. The meal was absolutely delicious, but the bill came to R410 - the steak was R200 (!) and the 'veg plate' was R150, plus the drinks. We loved our stay, and would definitely go back, but would perhaps make another plan for dinner."

"The rooms and the whole guesthouse look like it was lovingly furnished and decorated. Very good value for money and a pleasant place to stay. However it was impossible to find staff when we needed them, confirmation for the stay arrived the day after we left and we weren't shown where the breakfast room was, so had to skip it."
