  "The best food ever! Proper full English Breakfast in the mornings, served in a beautiful garden. The Dinner is a traditional Karoo cooked meal like my grandmother used to cook. Pumpkin, lamb, rice, cauliflour. Beautiful garden and there were even a family that brought their two large breed dogs along. Had a good little walk through the small town and saw a small holding with various animals as well as a Standard Bank ATM. Will certainly be back. Lot's of mosquito's but I had peacefull sleep and kept the windows closed and luckily there was an aircon. Little fridge with coffee in the room. Separate bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Save parking. Tossie and her husband and staff are very friendly and accommodating and really goes out of their way to cook for a king! Pet friendly. Good old Afrikaans people who goes out of their way to set the tables in the garden and even bring ice cream and chocolate sauce after the main course."

The actual house we stayed in was completely equipped with everything that we needed. Beds were comfy and the house was spotless. Would definitely recommend!<br/><br/>"

  "The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. The friendly hosts had prepared a nice dinner which was a god-send as we were travelling on a public holiday and no restaurants were open. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again if I was stopping in Hanover."

  "Our stay was most memorable but for the right reasons. The accommodation was very comfortable, and despite the cold temperatures we were cosy in our room and the wood fire in the dining room was fantastic. The food was just like the best home cooking and Tossie and Darnie were the perfect hosts. We will be stay again if in the area."

You enjoy true Karoo hospitality at an establishment that is beautiful and homely. Their evening dinners keep guests and locals coming back for seconds. And their staff are the most friendly and helpful. Bun Clody is a real Karoo treasure and a diamond in the town of Hanover. We look forward to our next stay with the Stander's."
