"Stay just the way you are! Very accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. Home away from home."
"The hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts were excellent. The facilities and accommodation was excellent, I would highly recommend their venue."
"Our hosts Luke and Anita were very focused on providing an excellent level of service during our stay. From a wonderful Boma, to afternoon crumpets, to a well stocked bar, to delicious food, they tried very hard at every turn to make us feel at home. Would definitely return."
"We enjoyed our stay tremendeously thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Anita and Luke. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. All the way to scones, muffins and flapjacks....<br/>After a day of golf we returned to chill in the bar. The dinner in the Boma is another highlight (lamb, steak or pot) followed by a fantastic tasting desert ( apple cake, cheede cake). One does not expect such great home cooking in the bush!!! Anita and Luke are a great team and are truly taking care of their guests.<br/>Heinrich + Beate"
"Lovely place! Highly recommended! Great hospitality! Fantastic breakfast!"
"Just the peaceful break we needed. Gracious and generous hosts. Sorry no hippos came to visit the river. I don't believe we will EVER have such fabulous steaks again in our lives. Thanks for a great stay."
"Enjoyed, Luke and Lucy are wonderful."
"<p>We received a warm welcome from both Luk and Anita. We were showed to our neat and clean units, towels were provided for both swimming and showering facilities. We did a self-catering braai with the company of Luk and Anita who catered to our every need. We were served a lovely breakfast before our departure. All and all, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend them.</p>"
"Words cannot describe the wonderful stay we had at Lukafrica. Anita and Luke are excellent hosts. We were welcomed and felt like we knew each other for years. From the biggest breakfast and excellent three course dinners we had daily I think my family gained a kilo or 3.My family of two kids and my husband, my sister-in-law with her son had great rooms viewing the Great Letaba river for five glorious days.Great referrals to the boat rides and game drives on our free day we spent all day at the wonderful pool area. My kids have officially got uncle Luke as part of the family and chef Anita to feed us. We will defiantly be going back ."
"As Maake family we have enjoyed the great hospitality received from Lukafrica safaris."
"We had a lovely stay in Lukafrica. The hospitality, the food, the interaction, etc was awesome. The owners are kind people and the really enjoy what they are doing and they are well informed about what they are doing. Their place, is beautiful and has a nature feel in it. The Bomma area, is the place to be. Sitting around the fire talking, enjoyed it. Everything was just good. I will for sure recommend them to to other people. Thanks Luk and Anita."
"Our journey to Lukafrica from JHB went seamlessly thanks to the concise directions provided by our hosts, not even my GPS could suggest a better route. Luke and Anita gave us a really warm welcome, and went to great lengths to show us all the facilities and then took us to our chalet, after our welcome drinks. We were really pleasantly surprised with the view of the very comfortable, neat and clean chalet! Right on the river, with a private deck, and we spotted a hippo less than 50m away! Luke and Anita really went out of their way to make us feel at home and special effort went into preparing and serving our dinner, and breakfast which was served outside overlooking the river! We reluctantly left for our journey onto the Kruger, wishing we could stay longer. We can honestly recommend this establishment. Nico & Charne Smith"
