  "We had a very short stay in Sunbird Cottage. We were looking for peace and quiet, to be surrounded by nature and beauty and to be away from the hustle of city life and work. We got exactly that. The cottage is very sweet and had everything we needed, the location is wonderful and Angie and Ray were the PERFECT hosts - friendly, accommodating and very flexible. I highly recommend Masescha - a real home from home."

  "Masescha is a lovely spot deep in the harkerville forests - wonderful for total peace and relaxation. We stayed in the sunbird cottage (self catering) which was equipped with everything we needed and -to our delight - was also cleaned for us daily when we were out (who wants to do dishes on holiday??) The hosts were fantastic and have compiled all the brochures for the garden route you could hope for with the bonus of 10% discounts at some of the top attractions by virtue of staying at Masescha. The lodge is approx 10mins from plett and 15mins from Knysna. Your closest garage is under 5mins away, the closest food store & beach about 15mins.The area is bursting with activities. We found our cottage to be private, quiet and well maintained. The only thing at all to pick on would be the hot water tended to run out in the shower after the first 5-10mins (enough for two quick showers)..but it was great whilst it lasted!"

  "We had a most enjoyable overnight stay at Masescha and wished we could have stayed longer. Angie was a very attentive hostess who kindly sms'd us prior to our arrival to give directions etc. Upon arrival we were upgraded into a lovely, warm cottage which provided us with all the conveniences we needed. It was clean and secure and would most definitely recommend it to friends. We hope to visit again in the near future. Thanks again!!"

  "Masescha Country Estate is a lovely self catering place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The accommodation is neat and simple and is perfect for affordable self catering accommodation. The host Angie was lovely. Angie and her husband were very friendly and went out their way to get to know us and make sure our stay was comfortable. I would definately suggest Masescha and will definately return."
