Buffalo Hills Private Game Reserve is a hidden gem situated in the Drakensburg highlands near Sterkfontein Dam in the Eastern Free State.

Self-catering accommodation is offered in 3 unique units, namely The Fishing Cottage, The Farm House, and The Mountain Lodge. All units come equipped with comfortable beds and a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room. Other in-room facilities include a lounge area, a fireplace, TV, DStv, Wi-Fi and outside braai area.

On-site activities include fishing, mountain biking, hiking and bird watching.

"We spent 3 nights at Beauchef Farm House and loved it! It is so peaceful with stunning scenery and you are forced to relax and unwind. We were fortunate enough to see the herd of buffalo and loved exploring the game farm (both on foot and by 4x4) with our children. We will definitely be back and have already booked our next stay!"
