Kosmos Manor Guest House

Named after the quant neighborhood that it stems from, Kosmos Manor on the banks of the Hartebeespoort Dam consists of six beautifully appointed rooms with combination of Victorian romance and modern hi-tech decor.

This elegant guest house focuses on ensuring guests feel light, fresh and breezy, making it virtually impossible to do much more than don some loose cotton clothing, slip on some flip flops and lazily while away the time on the pool deck overlooking the stunning magalies mountain range in the back ground. Revel in this hideaway where you can go for leisurely walks in the neighbourhood, drive through citrus groves and interesting local markets or just chill out by the pool or go on a sundowner cruise.

  • "The serenity and the views"

    20 August 2019

"loved the room, the views and the muesli and yogurt. improvements on variation of the breakfast(to include more options)Also there was no one really to welcome us on arrival, it was a bit difficult to get any information as the person who was there seemed to be standing in for someone, so we felt a bit alone. Jacuzzi wasn't working , something we had been looking forward to"

  • "Lovely location but needs improvement."

    21 November 2016

"Lovely location, views & the room I stayed in was enormous. That said the room was quite 'tired' and for the prices they charge (R1500 for the night) I really wasn't expecting frayed towels, linen with holes and stains or grubby, dated carpets & furniture. It was also frustrating that you had to ring a buzzer every time you needed access and then wait for someone to open for you. I was quite excited about my stay hear but sadly it really didn't live up to my expectations."

  • "Sweet stay with a hint of salt"

"Fantastic accommodation. The rooms are well planned to make the best of the magnificent view of the dam. The staff is well trained and very friendly except for the hostess. There were a couple of occurrences that I felt uncomfortable with, here are a few: 1. On arrival I asked the hostess if it was possible to keep our bicycles locked away for the duration of our stay and immediately I could see on her face that it seemed like effort to arrange for the bicycles to be locked away. 2. On our departure we were carrying our luggage down to the car and the next moment the security guard was called by the hostess from our balcony to come fetch the remaining items in the room. I felt this was very unprofessional as we were still busy booking out and no one gave her permission to enter our room. 3. During our stay she did warm up to the guests but I still felt that she was worried more about the guests sticking to the rules (breakfast times, book out time, etc.) than she was about making them feel at home. Overall the stay was pleasant and I will definitely visit again. Thanks."
