Welcome to Little Swift Chalets.

These romantic and intimate chalets for two are situated in the Skeerpoort Valley on the banks of the Magalies River, just 40 minutes drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Our goal is to provide you with privacy and an opportunity to relax away not just unwind! The 50 hectare farm has been game fenced and various specieshave beenintroduced for your pleasure and enjoyment.

The chalets are fully equipped for self catering and include microwave, hot plate stove, fridge, fireplace, bay window bathand private patio braai.

"Loved the little cottage with the fireplace and big open windows at the bath. The air came in a lot near the bath which made it very cold despite the lovely warm water. The view of the river from cottage number 4 was very restricted by large reeds which was very disappointing and after walking around a bit it looked like cottage 7 and 8 had fantastic views as no reeds had grown there. This is something that could possibly be looked into. The heated whirlpool jacuzzi did not appear to be operational and the pool was very dirty. It is winter so this could have been the reason however it is something that can be maintained which may improve the overall aesthetics of the place. Overall we had an amazing time. It was wonderfully secluded and just what we were looking for. We will definitely be back. Our friends are a bit fussy and for the price they may expect everything advertised to be in top order, so it may not be somewhere we would recommend for the facilities. But for a romantic couples get away it would definitely be on the list!!"

"This was more than what me and my wife expected! This weekend felt like a week and we relaxed until the end. On arrival we were met by an open-plan clean romantic atmosphere chalet that consisted of a large bathtub, overlooking the river. You automatically get that vacation feeling once you entered. The swimming pool helped allot to cool down and we unexpectedly received some visitors the Saturday evening. Two zebras were standing in front of our chalets while we were busy with a braai. Our stay was really pleasant and we will be heading back very soon!"

"We stayed in chalet No 3. They have eight chalets available, close enough but you do not see or hear your neighbours. Peace and quiet, just what we needed. Peter and I were looking for a breakaway as the kids and grandkids stay with us and are awake from 05h00 on weekends with yelling and screaming kids. All we wanted was to be woken up by birds not kids. We did hear birds, but were up with the sound of Air balloons going over the chalets. This place will definitely see us again. The chalet is just big enough for two people and well equiped, except no TV, but we did not mind. They had even matches available as we do not smoke and wanted to braai and we forgot to bring some with. We were lucky to see some animals, Emos, Zebras, some buck and felt likes kids seeing Zebras for the first time. Something else that we found nice was a Restaurant about 4km from the resort, Die Ou Pastorie. The foods is excellent and worth trying them. We were told that the menu changes everyday. This place will definitely see us again."

"My hubby and I was very disappointed with the place....the towels smelt like it wasn't washed, there were fish moths on the bed, the dishes were so dusty, the pool wasn't clean. There was nothing for us to do as the weather was bad and there was not even a television set. On Saturday we drove to Sun City and when we came back we checked out at around 7pm as we could not stay at that place. I will not recommend it to anyone."

"First of all i recieved a call from Lee on the Friday before the Saturday that we were meant to check in on. She gave me directions and offered to email me a map which she did seconds after we ended the call.When we arrived at our destination we were welcomed by Lee. Who was very friendly and we were shown to our chalets. She was also very helpful with directions to entertainment destinations.The chalets are STUNNING. Very neat, VERY WELL Equipped and a view to die for!Very nicely set up chalets with a great hot tub for 2, amazing fire place and cool braaing area set up outside each chalet.Lena(staff) is a doll, so very sweet and friendly, a true gem..You are also provided with a little folder of entertainment in the the surrounding areas, this proves to be very helpful to first time comers to Harties.This is an ideal establishment for couples who need to get away to for a romantic rendezvous:) Very Peaceful, tranquil Idealistic little get awayAll i can say is WOW!"

"Superb! Coming from the UK to experience the fabulous setting that is Little Swift was awesome. From Swimming in the lovely pool and watching a zebra stroll by, to opening the door to the chalet and being greeted by an emu! or sitting on the terrace overlooking the river and watching the monkeys swinging through the trees the whole experience was magical. Not forgetting the Hot air balloon rising above the trees from Harrops balloon field, at 6.00am! Take a good book and really get away from it all! Oh and the staff were great too! Would have appreciated a little radio to listen to the Rugby when England beat France! but then maybe not this Saturday!!!!"
