  "This place needs a complete make over, very old place definitely not a 4 star, we did not even use the lounge as those couches looked very dirty not to mention the spider webs everywhere, pictures on the website misleading will definitely not come back and refer the place"

  "The self catering unit, has NO forks or a pan. Light in the kitchen not working. Aircon was only blowing cold wind, despite putting it on high which was 32.over all the stay was good."

  "Curtain hooks missing in bedroom and bathroom, gives a sloppy appearance. Used crockery should be collected/replaced/washed, AND PROPERLY DRIED every day - not every second day! Dust on wardrobe shelves."

  "The place was just ok but was not entirely impressed with the cleanliness. The floor was dirty & had dirty carpets too. Even the corners of the rooms were so dirty with spider webs which goes to show that the place was not cleaned before me + my family checked in. It looks like it was checked long ago. Not worth the money, not worth another visit"

  "The Penthouse is not worth the money paid it is outdated in desporate need of a makeover.Lady at resection not the most warming person I have ever met. Hot water only a nought for one to shower and you have to go through office space to reach the unit. I can't recommend this for anyone as I know there is much better places available in the area for much less."

  "The accommodation was fine, but in no way is it 4 star. According to the 4 star rating requirements, there are many aspects that certainly do not comply. To mention but a few, the bathroom tiles are loose, the basin is cracked, the cupboards handles are missing, no hooks,there are holes in the bedroomroof, soap andshampoo were provided on the first day for 2 people and there were three of us, thesewere not replenished on the second day, no hairdryer, towels not as per requirements, on arrival had to wait for ages for the gate to be opened as there was loud tv or radio somewhere, so our constant rings were not heard for some time. We then get taken through a room, which on going out for the day next morning, was being used as a conference room, so we had to look for another way to get to our car. Like I say, accommodation was ok, but don't try pass it as 4 star. Not sure how that was achieved."

  "Definitely not a 4 star establishment.Was going to rate 2 stars but found a used condom in the room we shared with our kids on the morning of our departure!!! Management did apologise for this. Stayed in manor house - there was a constant flow of foot traffic to the area - the unit is not private at all. The jacuzzi splash pool is not heated. Also, the pool table is for communal use, not just the manor house. We were kept up until the early morning hours as the table is literally up against the ground floor bedroom window and you could hear all.Good photography makes it seem as if all the units are freestanding. They are pretty much on top of each other, sharing walls etc."

  "When we checked in we found that the place only catered for 5 people but on the internet it read '8'. But we have to applaude the staff for making an effort to rectify the situation immediately and for putting a TV in the lounge, well done. We only draw back was the place we stayed in was not as nice as the one on the internet and the other units that we saw. Our unit needs to be updated as the furniture was old and worn out."

  "It is a great environment. The staff were very eager to please, which was a great pleasure. The main bed at the Rose Cottage needs to be changed; we ended up sleeping with the kids because it was uncomfortable and old. Otherwise, we had an okay stay. Many thanks."

  "Not what I expected, we arrived at 14.30 and the room was not ready we came back at 16.00 and the room was ready. It smelled of smoke the accommodation looked nothing like the pictures adverstised. The walls were dirty, the bathroom ceilings were damaged. It is definitely not worth a 4 star rating. I would think twice before staying at this place."
