Situated on the foot of the Magaliesberg, you will find Bly-n-Bietjie self-catering units nestled in the Africa bushveld. Bly-n-Bietjie self-catering units are on a beautiful 8-hectare small holding thats only a stone-throw out of the busy city life (30 - 45 minutes from Pretoria and 45 - 60 minutes from Johannesburg). The perfect weekend or holiday break away for you, your partner and/or family.
You can choose between three units. Two lovely private one-bedroom units (queen bed) with a shower (& bath), a fully equipped kitchen and build-in braai on the patio; suitable for two people. Or the wooden log house with two bedrooms (queen/king bed and single bed in each room), two bathrooms with a spacious living room and an open-plan kitchen with adjacent scullery. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and both rooms has spacious wardrobes. Sleeps maximum six people; four adults and two children. The units are safely surrounded by electrical fencing.
At Bly-n-Bietjie you will have the privilege to enjoy beautiful sunsets while enjoying a braai. You will also have the chance to enjoy the birdlife from close-up and at night you can listen to the jackals howling. Both units are fully furnished, including bedding, hand towels and bath towels. The kitchens are well equipped and has a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and electric stove. Coffee and tea are provided.
Bly-n-Bietjie self-catering units also has a communal outside swimming pool situated between the trees and in the bushes for an awesome bushveld feeling. The closest shop with all the necessities and a small liquor store is approximately 1km away from Bly-n-Bietjie self-catering units.
We are only 15km away from the closest shopping centers, restaurants as well as abundant activities to keep you busy in and around Hartbeespoortdam. Activities include art galleries, health spa, curio market, horse-riding, golf courses, elephant riding, snake and animal park, aquarium, crocodile farm, horse riding, walk with the lions, cheetah breeding and conservation center, canopy tours, zip-line tours, cheese farm, game drives, hot air ballooning, Margaret Roberts herbal center, cable car trips, French toast caf, Pretville (Hartiwood), Jasmyn farmstall, river rafting, fishing, boat cruises on the Hartbeespoortdam, micro light flying and visiting the bush baby sanctuary.

18 August 2017"It was very clean, but you can't drive a low car due to the road leading to the cottage. And it gets quite scaryat night . The couches are a bit uncomfortable to sit on and a better tv with maybe some DSTV channels would be nice, the DVD's that were there had some glitches. But overall the experience was nice. We did how ever find a mouse, but luckily that was on our last night there."

Their well equiped kitchen, tidy bathroom, comfortable bed n pillows everything abt that cottege left me breathless. The warm welcome we recoeved from Marjolein n kind hospitality made us feel at home. I definately will b going bck. The only thing missing is an ironing board, iron n dstv apart from dat all thumbs up from me n no complaint whatsoever really loved the peace n tranquility wish i cud stay there forever."

Unit A had an amazing bonfire/braai area and a huge veranda with the most gorgeous view. Kitchen was well kitted out and our hostess was friendly and unobtrusive. No jokes the nearest shop was 1 km away, very convienient."
