De Wildt 4x4 Game Park

De Wildt 4x4 Game Park & Resort is your I ideal weekend breakaway from the concreate jungle, in the bushveld one hour from Johannesburg and 2 0-30 minutes from Hartbeespoort Dam and Pretoria. Guests can choose to camp or stay in one of the wooden log cabins. The farm has a large number of activities and offers the ideal family retreat.

The Campsites have electrical points and are ideal for camping or for those with caravans; there are braai facilities and ablution blocks. The one and two-bedroom Log Cabins offer views across the farm and have kitchenettes with their amenity's, cutlery and fridges. A microwave or two-plate stove can be provided on request. Those hosting a function may have use of a tented campsite ideal for groups. Please note that no music is allowed as this is a nature park.

The reserve offers the following swimming pools, picnic sites with braai facilities, lapas with two bars onsite. Guests can enjoy the 4x4 trail, game drives, birdwatching, hiking , fishing , guided quad biking and guests are also welcome to bring their bicycles. The children can enjoy a kids play area- kids venue or (for hire for private functions) - and we also offer team building activities , venue hire ( seminars, training or information sessions. "We camped at Hadeda campsite, lovely, clean and well equipped with all your need. The staff from security, reception, cash bar, ground staff ect were very helpful and polite, special thanks to Martin for all his help and friendliness. The Game reserve was devine, animals and fauna and flora are just beautiful. No 4x4 for us unfortunately because that looked very exciting, however we did walk in the reserve which was the best."

"We camped last weekend but plan to come back and book one of the lovely cabins. We found friendly staff, quiet campers, enjoyable facilities (swimming pool, sports bar...), and very clean and well maintained overall. The hike at the 4x4 track while watching game made our weekend. We will come back for sure!"

"We had a super time. We enjoyed bird watching and seeing the animals come so close to the Pophuis Chalet was fantastic. We are not experienced 4x4 drivers and the 4x4 track was a challenge but not impossible.The unit was clean and we will definitely book this unit again sometime in the future. The De Wildt Game Park is very close to Roodepoort and Krugersdorp - great to be in the Bushveld so close to the main centres"

"We had a great time at De Wildt, the facilities are very clean and well kept. There is lovely shaded and grassy areas around the pool. The Hadida camp must be new as the trees are not as big and the grass is still a bit patchy but we still managed to have a good stand. The 4x4 track was an amazing experience with lovely game viewing at the same time. The nearby Cheetah Centre is a must for any animal lovers. We will definitely return to De Wildt!"

"Alex is an excellent host and was very helpful. The farm itself is beautiful. Just keep in mind that although the advertising states that is self-catering units, you probable want to bring your own equipment / cutlery as the stock supplied is a bit limited."
