  "Fires Mountain Lodge is the perfect spot, if you just want to break away from the city or romantic getaway with your loved one. The Chalets are very neat and have all the basics! Edward and Linda was very friendly and received us with open arms. The feel of the bush and just overlooking the mountains and dam is priceless! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for another visit! I can honestly say, this was money well spend!"

  "<p>We had a lovely stay at Fires Mountain Lodge. The cabin was sufficiently equipped with what we needed and the lodge is very peaceful.<br></br>Thankfully Linda told us to bring extra blankets because the cabin is very cold at night! My only improvement recommendation would be to get a heater or fireplace installed into the cabins to make it pleasant at night in winter.</p><p>We will definitely be back though! The kids loved walking around the property and seeing the guinea fowl. A generally lovely weekend at an extremely affordable price.<br></br></p><p ></br></p><p>&nbsp;</p>"

Rooms clean and properly equipped, however there was no mops and brooms to clean whenever you spill something on the floor.   "Had a recent weekend away with my fiance. Was a bit scary making my way up the mountain, but when we got to the top, we were greeted by Christo and he was really friendly. They even sorted my room out with flowers and a platter and a bottle of bubbly. Really great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Christo was a great host and made sure we were ok all the time."

  "Although our stay was short and unfortunately, we didn't have much time to appreciate it, it was pleasant. The rooms were homely and the kitchenette well-kitted for basic food preparation. I was surprised to even find little soaps in the bathrooms and there were fresh towels available. The owners were helpful and came to my rescue by accommodating our children at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. Also, the grounds and view from the pool are lovely and there are many activities in the area."
