Little Brak Beach House is located in Little Brak River, A quaint and picturesque sea side village set on the outskirts of Mossel Bay. The guest house is situated 200 meters walking distance from the beach and river mouth. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Popular activities in the area include swimming or lazy floating down the river, beach walks, fishing, canoeing, bird watching, whale watching during the winter months and game drives at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve.

The guest house consists of four double en-suite rooms and a family room. Each en-suite room has wireless internet and TV with a variety of DStv channels. Being 12 km from the centre of Mossel Bay, 80 km from Oudtshoorn , 25 km from George Airport and 95 km from Knysna, its a great base for discovering the Garden Route. A high standard of accommodation is offered at an affordable price. Guests have the choice of either B and B or self-catering. Facilities include a fully-equipped self-catering kitchen, braai facilities, living room with DStv and DVD, secure off street parking and Wi-Fi. The climate is mild throughout the year, closest to that of Hawaii. Local attractions include shark-cage diving, boat trips to Seal Island, sight seeing at the Cape St Blaze Caves, Mossel Bay Museum, Mossel Bay Harbour, sky diving, paragliding, rock climbing, abseiling, sea kayaking, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, bungee jumping, wine tasting and surfing lessons.

"Our room was neat and clean, and offered all the facilities that we needed. A perfect place for a stop over on our way back to Cape Town. The town itself was quaint and peaceful. We even managed a trip to the Hartenbos parkrun, which is also close by. We will definitely consider a return visit."

"Yes we enjoyed our stay at Little Brak Beach House. It is nice and clean, perfect for that overnight stop. Not exactly a "beach house", but still within walking distance from the sea. Service was good and the people friendly and accommodating."

"The rooms and facilities are very clean, neat and tidy, but I didn't feel all that welcome to be honest. The older lady was quite friendly though.The name is also misleading as it states beach house. I did not see or even hear the ocean. What I did hear was the neighbour when they went to the bathroom or shower, and also a very nice early morning train. Luckily I had to get up quite early as that would have been quite a rude awakening. They also provide tea and coffee facilities but there is 1) no tap available to fill up the kettle unless you do this in your room and 2) there was almost no milk left and the kitchen was locked.Just not a place I would recommend or go to again..."
