The very prestigious Abangane Guest Lodge is located on a 22-hectare portion of the original Farm de Rust situated on the Sabie Road in Hazyview. At sunrise and sunset zebra, impala, giraffe and many more can be seen grazing on the neighbouring private game farm. The sparkling blue infinity pool, with its breathtaking view over the valley, adds to the serene ambience. Night-time is magical, with lanterns that invite you for a walk through the lush gardens while you take in the sounds of the evening. Most evenings you will be blessed with the haunting cry of the Fish eagle heard high above the hilltops.

A wholesome continental or full English breakfast can be enjoyed in the lodge dining room or on the open veranda. Abangane Guest Lodge is the ideal gateway to the famous Kruger National Park. Three access gates are located nearby, the closest being the Phabeni Gate reachable within a leisurely 15-minute drive. The Blyde River Canyon, with the famous Gods Window and other spectacular attractions, are also easily accessible from Abangane Lodge, all just a day trip away. In addition, some of the best restaurants in the area are a short drive from the lodge, as well as a comprehensive, well-equipped shopping centre a mere 2 km away. Discerning travellers will find quick access to most amenities and resources they may require.

"Conveniently located just minutes from town, but surrounded by farm and bush, it couldn't have been more relaxing. Situated on a hill offering views over the countryside. Nice pool and deck area, and a delicious breakfast. Cozy and elegant rooms."

"We were lucky enough to secure the honeymoon suite for valentines day. Klaus and Redvin were the perfect hosts, taking care of all the details and ensuring that we had a breath taking weekend. Klaus' network with local service providers secured us a on the hot air balloon - which is most certainly the highlight of the weekend. Klaus also recommended the Panorama Meander to Blyde River Canyon and Pancakes in Graskop. We loved the meander and even got to do the BIG SWING. Abangane offers more than just a room to stay in they offer a service and go the extra mile for their clients. The rooms are well maintained and gorgeous. highlights include the jacuzzi bath in honeymoon suite, beautiful garden and pool area - with zen area and of course the food. All in all you feel like you're in a luxury hotel with friends...."

"My fiancee and I got engaged a mere week before we went for our Holiday and it was the most perfect setting to celebrate. Everything about the place was just amazing; Klaus is an incredible host, the food was just out of this world - we eat out a lot and nothing comes close to what we found at Abangane - And of course Mpumalanga and Hazyview is certainly one of the most beautiful place on earth.We are even contemplating going back with a few friends soon."

"Excellent. We stayed two nights and wished we could have stopped longer. Beautiful location, fantastic rooms, beautiful lounge and dining room. Had dinner and breakfast both nights they were culinary delights. Klaus is the perfect host and this is reflected by the comments in his visitors book. We will always remember this place."
