"Nature at its best."
"Its definitely a gem hidden away in the forests alongside a beautiful dam. The property has everything one can ask for. Serene walks around the property are a plus. The hosts are extremely hospitable and warm people, not to forget their son David as well :-)"

"Spacious and very neat. Well equipped. Friendly hostess. Ideal stop over to explore the area."
"Felt unsafe. No security. Manager did not seem very confident either when asked about security. Had to leave and find another place to stay."
"If you would like to escape the lights, noise and busy life of the city to a quite and relaxing place, Kata Charis gives exactly that. It's magnificent clean finishes and well equipped units are perfect for a family."
"We had an amazing week and will definitely return!!<div><br /></div><div>Friendly people that will help where they can!</div>"
"Without a doubt, the best self-catering lodge we have ever been to. Leonie and Arnold are fantastic hosts and very friendly. The accommodation more than lived up to our expectations, it felt like home more than a weekend away and we were very heart sore to have to leave. We will definitely be going back there and we have already suggested it friends and family.<div>Thanks Leonie and Arnold for allowing us into your magical haven.</div>"
"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Kata Charis. It is a very nice exclusive place with tranquility and peace. The place is well serviced daily with a very nice lady who is very hospitable. It a very nicely situated destination for holiday because it is not too far from most activities and adventures that Hazyview offers. Very centrally located to go out daily for fun activities and come back to some peace and quiet in the bush. We did looks of jogs and walks in the bugs with no fear of anything. Safe place too. I'll definitely go back there. Thanks Arnold and Leonie. Very hospitable owners too!"
"The house is spacious and fully equipped. We enjoyed the time to relax so close to nature. We even spotted the hippo! Would certainly stay there again. Erick & Mimie Gauch"

"Really a discovery, best location, close to everything with Lowveld temperatures and absolute quietness. The Lodge we stayed is very spacious, two bedrooms with huge bathrooms, Ideal for two couples. Kitchen, living, patio, braai, all very spacious, fully equipped and sparkling clean. Best thing although it's Self Catering is the daily cleaning of the Cottage including beds and dish washing. Something you really appreciate being away on sightseeing the whole day. Just perfect, keep it up this way, Leonie."
"What a pleasure. We were stuck in mud and rain, the owner towed us out. Delightful accommodation. very pleasant and helpful people would recommend to everyone. Would certainly stay there again. Thank you so much."
"Have a fabulous weekend with my friends and thanks to the wonderful host and owner Leonie, you are so sweet and professional."

"The most wonderful holiday I have ever had in Mpumalanga, I will be lying if I am tempted not to reveal the place to friends. Definately the the first place to check when travelling to Mpumalanga."
"We found the Kata Charis Lakeside Lodge to be the getaway that we had been looking for. It's a wonderful place to go to when you want to escape from the hustle of everyday life. The interior is beautiful and there's enough space for everyone. We will definitely be going there again!"
"Thank you for your warm hospitality and luxurious and clean accommodation. Wonderful views and away from any main roads but close enough to activities."
"This was a truly great place to stay. The hostess was friendly and we were treated like royalty. The chalets were exceptional and the gardens are well kept."
"Beautiful lakeside chalets near Kruger Park. Great decks with beautiful views overlooking the lake. Excellent braai facilities. Lovely bedrooms with great en-suite bathrooms. Well equipped. Only criticism would be we went with wheelchair-bound guest and showers were not accessible for him. Would be okay for someone with limited mobility. Down steep dirt track - might be difficult to drive up after rain without 4WD."
