Dorpshuis Gastehuis is the ideal stopover for a peaceful and secure night's rest. The guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodation in seven units. The accommodation is ideal for contract workers and business travellers visiting Heilbron.

The private rooms are all well equipped with modern amenities including TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities and refrigerators. We serve a full traditional breakfast in the rooms or in the dining room, at a time that is convenient to the guests. Dinner and the covered braai area are available to guests on request. The large tropical garden has a koi pond and offers a quiet place to relax and unwind. The property offers safe and secure off-street parking.

The small town offers numerous restaurants for additional meals. The area as lots of activities including a wine route, game farms and 4x4 trails.

"The large rondawel I stayed in had everything I needed. Plenty of facilities are within walking distance in the town. My room was not a self catering unit. An additional multiplug for charging devices could be an improvement. Additional lighting for reading or working on documents etc could be useful for busy travellers."

"The owner of the guest house is very friendly and accommodating, but the facilities are clearly not a priority, room has damp on all the wall the ceiling is leaking and the bathroom tiles loose from damp. Not worth the money. The photo is probably from the owners personal property but does not reflect where guests actually have to park and stay."

"The Dorpshuis Guest house is one of the friendliest 2 Star Guest houses I have stayed at. Smile with a service is all I can say. The people is warm and friendly and all the basics are there. The place has an antique theme and the prices are very affordable. It is safe and close to the main road in town that runs parallel to the R57. The breakfasts is gigantic and delicious! Make sure you ask for the Omelet or the scramble eggs Nataniel style."
