Magaliesberg Adventure Lodge is nestled at the foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountain range, in the picturesque valley of Hekpoort. Less than an hours drive from both Johannesburg and Pretoria, 20 minutes from Hartebeespoort Dam, and situated in the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site, and this self-catering venue is ideal for the traveller who wants a taste of the country and adventure side of Gauteng living.

Two self-catering options are available: The Main House sleeping 12 people sharing, which is a self-catering unit with four spacious bedrooms. The Cottage sleeping six people sharing, with two bedrooms and a bunk bed in the open-plan area.

Both units are fully equipped for self-catering, and we charge per unit and not per person.

Experience historical sites like Maropeng, Sterkfontein Caves, Rhino and Lion Park, Historic Goldmines and Lesedi, whilst retiring to open skies and the sound of black-backed jackal at night. Visit our Big 5 Game reserves like Plumari and Pilanesberg, climb, paddle, abseil, hike, bike, fly, clay-shoot or ride; its all right here on our doorstep.
