Aloe House Guest Lodge
We offer luxurious bed and breakfast guest house accommodation in Hermanus on the famous South African Cape Whale Route. Our aim is to provide affordable accommodation to both the local and international market, without compromising on style, amenities, or service. The guest house is centrally located, just five minutes' walk to the village, shops, restaurants, the craft market, and the cliff paths for whale watching.
Our five stylishly appointed suites all have full en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, fridges, safes, heaters and fans, phones, and tea and coffee-making facilities with our famous complimentary shortbread. All suites have separate entrances leading onto the pool and garden area. The Honeymoon Suite features a private garden with pool and barbecue area, a loft bedroom, spacious lounge with kitchenette, and full bathroom with glass ceiling shower so you can shower under the stars.
Enjoy a full farmhouse breakfast to start your day and relax around the large salt water swimming pool. We will pack you a picnic to enjoy on the cliff paths while whale watching or on one of Hermanus's lovely beaches.

14 November 2009"Aloe House is located on the main road into Hermanus, on walking distance from the beachfront (1km) which is famous for whale watching. I really felt welcome and at home here because of the friendliness of the host and the beautiful design of the place. Everything is done to make you feel relaxed. All living areas feel spacious as there is a lot of natural light. Rooms are located around two small swimming pools, one being on two levels with water flowing from one pool into the other. The rooms are very nicely decorated, have their own small living room and bathroom with bath and shower. There is a parking with automatic gate in front of the guest house, which closes at night, so you feel very safe as well."

One night was not enough to fully tune down and sit by the pool(or in it) but the quality of the rooms was up with the best we have seen.We wanted for nothing and Hermanus is about relaxing and having some time to yourself.
