Umhlanga remains a highly popular seaside resort, with its wide, sandy beaches lined with exclusive hotels and apartment blocks. The beaches are usually filled with umbrellas and sun worshippers, while locals enthusiastically walk the promenade at sundown.
In addition, the nearby Gateway Shopping Centre is one of the biggest shopping centres in the country. This means that while staying in Umhlanga, one has little reason to venture elsewhere.

26 August 2018"We had a wonderful time here at Gregs place on the first Floor. The place is well kept and the two maids helpful and friendly. Also Greg was very supporting and always trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The Scott family has 2 poodles and it was always entertaining to watch them play on the lawn. The place is secure with the sliding gate at the entrance with secure parking. It is a very quiet area which is exactly what we wanted. the machines are all working in the kitchen especially the washing machine comes in handy. The big mall Gateway is only 5 minutes away by car and it takes only 10 minutes to the beach. We will definitely come back. Valentyna and Peter from Vienna in Austria. August 2018"
