Forest Walk Self-catering

Forest Walk Self-catering is situated in the beautiful forest area of Hibberdene and offers a rustic rain forest feeling from the tree tops. With the beach within walking distance, guests can enjoy the surf of the Indian Ocean and the lovely sandy beaches of the South Coast.

Forest Walk is a self-catering bush camp offering two wooden bush cottages and a tree house, with all the necessary linen and utensils. The units sleep between four and six people and a TV with local channels is available in each unit.

Forest Walk is situated approximately 800 m from unspoiled beaches and just 2.8 km from the main Blue Flag swimming beach, as well as the shopping centre of Hibberdene. The area is also very popular with mountain bikers. Come and unwind in this relaxed coastal town known for its lovely weather, with the forest and sea at your feet.

Please note we are in a forest area, and while we to make efforts towards pest control, there may be a few harmless bugs around.

"Disgusted with the tree house"

"The place was extremely dirty. We know there are a lot of insects and things but it looked like the place had not been cleaned in months. It looked like the place only get cleaned where you can see and when we moved the side tables next to the bed there was a thick layer of dust behind it. The stove was very dirty and we could not use the stove since it did not have a nob to switch it on. We took our own sheets and I took the sheets of the main bedroom to be washed since it was full of stains.The place leaks when it rains and the curtains at the top is starting to rot at the top.They say the place is full equipped but there is almost no pots to cook with. They say there is DSTV. We took our own decoder and the signal was so bad that we could only watch som channels and the TV is also very bad. We did not have any signal to use our phones. We were really very disappointed in the place. It's not anything they say in the add.We will not recommend the place to any one and then there is a poster on that says it was rated the best establishment in 2015. The place must get rated again.I don't even want to rate the place. Worst place ever."

"Ons het ons verblyf by Forest Walk baaie geniet. Ons het geen klagtes oor enigiets nie .Die cottage was skoon en netjies en daar was geen goggas of onaardse kreature nie.Christene is 'n baaie aangename persoon en was baaie behulpsaam.Ons sal defnetief as die geleentheid daar is weer daar tuisgaan.Frederik Cilliers"

"This is honestly the first time I am not happy with my booking through Safari. If I wanted to stay in an squatter camp I would have done so. Directions was incorrect, dirt roads. Nice layer of dust and grime all over, cobwebs. this is a wooden structure and not fit for children definitely. only plus is that it is quiet at night. Beach is about 10 minutes drive away, no way to walk there. Siesa"
