Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor offers various accommodation options on a DBB basis, and is located outside the small Lowveld town of Hoedspruit. We are situated on the breathtaking 15000-hectare Blue Canyon Conservancy boasting four species of the Big 5. The Hoedspruit area is characterized by the abundance of Big 5 game viewing opportunities and game reserves with pristine natural surroundings along the western boundary of the Kruger National Park. Even while indoors, one is constantly reminded of, and greeted by, magnificent natural scenes, be it either the well established colonial-style gardens or the northern reaches of the Drakensberg Mountains. The promise of relief from the Lowveld heat and humidity is materialized in the cool depths of the swimming pool, which overlooks an often frequented waterhole amidst indigenous trees and shrubbery. A sundowner has never tasted quite as good as it does on the pool deck overlooking the scene below. Activities include BIG 4 game drives, bush walks and birding excursions departing from our reception, directly onto the Blue Canyon Conservancy. We also offer an exclusive one hour helicopter trip into the Blyde River Canyon - see the canyon like you have never seen it before. We also have an onsite spa where a variety of treatments are offered in our lapa style treatment room overlooking our waterhole. An array of activities are located in the nearby area, such as hot air ballooning, microlight flights, trips into the Kruger National Park and the famous Panorama Route. The Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, Jessica the Hippo and boat cruises on the Blyde Dam are all very worthwhile experiences to enjoy during your stay with us. "We arrived and were blown away by the Drakensberg mountain views in the distance. The lodge is far more stunning than the pics and the staff was so friendly and skilled at their jobs. Giraffes are as common in this reserve as Impala are in others! Seeing Wild Dogs with their 11 puppies was a definite highlight. Thanks again for a beautiful stay."
"Wonderful room and grounds, we were treated like royalty by the staff. The food was great. Also had a nice game drive."
"A beautiful place to stay with a stunning view. The rooms are lovely decorated with great attention to detail. There is a fan in the room but for those hot humid summer days you do miss airconditioning. The staff were very friendly and hospitabel and the food was good. A downside are the trains that hoot everytime they are near the crossing nearby the accommodation."
