High up in the beautiful Amatola Mountains, the Laragh-on-Hogsback lies amidst a mixture of indigenous and exotic trees, in the hamlet of Hogsback.
Offering a rustic charm and warmth with natural-wood flooring and high ceilings, accommodation is available in upmarket luxury cottages that are equipped with a variety of modern necessitys. These self-catering units are named the Yellowwood, Copper Beech and Magnolia, inspired by the sight, sounds and smells of the many trees in which they are sheltered. Each cottage is self-contained with a separate entrance and entertainment decks; designed to ensure your privacy and comfort.
Located where life is slow and tranquil, accommodation is just 1km from the village and its collection of pubs and restaurants.
"Lovely accommodation with real attention to detail. Lovely warm beds and a well appointed kitchen and living areas. a lovely garden with visits from the owners' two adorable ridgebacks and the unusual Samango monkeys. Laragh-on-Hogsback is relatively centrally situated in Hogsback so most places are a short walk away.Jenny and Norman are outstanding hosts, nothing was too much trouble.Highly recommended"
