Honne-Hemel: Oubaas is the ideal getaway for the whole family. We have two self-catering, six sleeper holiday homes, each with spectacular views of the ocean and only minutes away from the beach.

Small house trained pets welcome with prior arrangement.The two houses are named after our beloved pets already in Honne-Hemel.PLEASE NOTE: The rate is for the whole unit (6 guests) and starts from R900 (out of season) to R1100 (in season)

Oubaas is a 3 bedroom house - the main bedroom en-suite (shower only) has a double bed and the other two bedrooms have twin single beds with use of a separate full bathroom (shower & bath). The Kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, all crockery and utensils as well as braai equipment. The dining room has a six seater table and a lovely fireplace/ braai.

The lounge area has double doors that open onto an outside braai patio, which has sea views. Another braai area with an outside toilet also available. DSTV (Family Package) included. Lock-up garage and fully fenced. If you want privacy, beautiful sea views, safety for kids AND PETS this is the place to book your holiday. Like all other places in our beautiful country we also have problems that we sometimes have to cope with.

Water can be a major problem during peak seasons use sparingly at all times. Electricity can go down unannounced to everybodys frustration. Make the best of the situation, dine by candlelight and appreciate the sky above you stars like you seldom see.We value our guests and try to accommodate their needs at all times. Hondeklipbaai is approximately 90 km from Garies (gravel road) and 200km from Springbok. Fuel is available at Koiingnaas which is 22 km from Hondeklipbaai. You will find a small butchery, bakery, liquor store, restaurants and two general dealers in Hondeklipbaai for general needs.

"Lia was very accommodating, friendly and helpfull. She immediatlly seeked a replacement mattress after I complained about my back. Wine, chocolates, rusks and milk in the fridge. She also shared a delicious carrot cake with us."

"Our stay at Honde-Hemel Oubaas was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing.With a view to the sea and little fishing boats, to sit on the veranda with a glass of wine, it couldn't get better than this. The house was well equipped and spacious. Hondeklipbaai is very isolated and not much to do there, so bring a good book, go for some walks. Our little dog was very happy and safe on the large enclosed property. Pity the TV did not work. It think this is one of the best places to stay in Hondeklipbaai."

"The owner was very welcoming and went over and above what is expected to make our stay comfortable. House had everything needed for self catering. Bedding and beds excellent. Spend only 1 day, would have loved to stay longer and explore the area more. Will definitely go back and stay for a few days. Great value for money and good for the soul."

"Friendly greeting bu Lia. Lovely setting close to beach and harbour with great view from stoep and braai area at back. House spacious and well kitted out. Helpful information file. Just 2 minor points: En suite shower was not very warm and cut out sometimes. TV channels did not all work on second evening but not really a priority for us."
