The Palms Gastehuise/Guesthouse

The Palms Guest house is a lovely self-catering guest house. The guest house offers secure and comfortable accommodation for 20 people. Located on the main route through Hopetown ensures easy access to restaurants and shops.

There are five rooms and a flat all with air-conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a kitchen fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, microwave and dish washer. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining area or at the lapa. The lapa also has braai facilities.

The guest house is surrounded by an electrical fence and offers a spacious safe parking on the premises even for caravans.

"After a hot and long drive, we arrived to a cool, clean, spacious room with lots of extras such as breakfast, yogurt, purified water and much more. The other plus was the secure wall for our pets to roam and run around on the green lawn. We will be back!!"

"Guest house clean and managers/owners friendly. No soap or shampoo in shower.<br/>Air-Conditioner noisy and blocked by curtain so you have the fold the curtain into the window burglar bars. Water pressure a bit low but manageable."

"As a single traveller I was upgraded from Room 1 to Room 5, so my comments relate to the latter. The unit was exceptionally well-appointed, and every self-catering need provided for. A nice touch was the provision for a light breakfast (tea/coffee, cereals, rusks, fresh milk and yoghurt) and the air-conditioning was a godsend on a very hot afternoon. Excellent value for money."

"What a pleasant surprise. Charlotte is a friendly and warm host, who looks after the small things like yogurt and cereals she provided when she heard we will depart early before breakfast.We enjoyed our stay very much in a clean and modern room with a beautiful bathroom. Supper at a cute restaurant in the small but very friendly town.We will definitely stay there again on our next trip down to Glentana."

"We enjoyed our stay over at The Palm, rooms and facility great value for money, it was 100 times better than what we expected in relation to what we paid. The staff which received us was exceptional we travelled on Christmas and she gave us Chrismas lunch without expecting any payment."
