Twin Pools Lodge

Twin Pools Lodge is set in the beautiful Balgowan Valley in the Natal Midlands. We offer the frazzled city dwellers a quiet retreat in a truly picturesque countryside, with warm hospitality and relaxed accommodation.

The fully equipped, open-plan suites have all the necessities for a comfortable stay. All the rooms have their own separate entrances, patios and braai facilities. Wake up to bird songs while taking a stroll before a delicious country breakfast, and then spend your day swimming or fishing in one of the dams. Take a trip to the battlefields or just drive around and capture the essence of our beautiful surroundings.

There are a lot of activities to choose from such as mountain biking, playing golf, a canopy tour or horse-back riding. Visit Swissland to sample their cheeses while the kids play with the baby goats. The Karkloof Farmers Market is on a Saturday morning, and is a great place to fill your picnic baskets with delicious breads, ham, fruit and vegetables.

If you visit us in the winter, you might be lucky enough to experience a snowfall, when our valley becomes a winter wonderland.
