Crows nest in Port Elizabeth offers luxury self-catering suites only two minutes walk from the beach. The lodge is centrally located to most entertainment hotspots in the city.

The suites have been decorated and fitted to create a comfortable and stylish interior with subtle tones of Africa. Everything you could require to make yourself at home is provided. The beds are designed and created exclusively for our establishment to ensure you get the best possible night's sleep. The suites all have a fully-equipped modern kitchen including mini ovens, microwaves, crockery, glassware, cooking equipment and fridges with mini freezer compartments.

Crows Nest has a covered communal braai perfect for the small family or groups. The rooms are serviced daily and a laundry service is available on request. The back of the building is available for safe parking while transfers can be arranged on request from the airport for those without a vehicle.

"The room we stayed was not properly cleaned the first day. The beds were very comfortable. Very noisy location - especially on the Saturday night. "My family and I stayed the one night. From the outside the place looks great. There was no real problem with the overnight. I do feel that the room could do with an update. I did mention the following morning that they needs to vacuum under the beds more as we moved one and found a few things under there. Otherwise lovely stay and view is great."

"Crow's nest is such beautiful apartments with a great facilities and view.  The owners are a very lovely, friendly and very hospitable couple! The area is very safe and most thing are close by (walking distance) the unfortunate part for us we stayed on the top floor and we had to use the stairs and there are no elevators "

"I had initially booked my stay for 4 days, but had earlier confirmed with them I will be staying another night. On arrival there was no knowledge of this and the woman helping me wasn't very helpful and even after showing her the correspondence she didn't really want to get involved. Regardless the 3 of us checked in. It was also difficult to get hold of the manager and one excuse after another was made why we couldn't chat to him. After our long journey from Cape Town to PE for Ironman, we were quite tired so decided to have a nap. On more than one occassion the cleaning staff do not knock on the door and just walk in. They also seem to be rationing toilet paper. They clean the rooms once a day and give you one toilet roll per day. Unfortunately there are 3 of us and with me being a "regular" athlete one roll is not enough. Everytime I asked for another roll the staff were dumbfounded that I could be using more than one toilet roll and made quite a big thing about it. I found this quite rude. As you walk into the reception area it shows the accommadtion has 3 stars, but when you check into the room you only see 2 stars. So I'm still not 100% sure how many stars they are. I finally met with the manager the 2nd last day I was there who was quite friendly and helpful. We were moved to another room to which I was grateful for and we stayed the extra night as planned. "

"Very nice stay. Comfortable and clean. Apartment was cleaned daily by personnel. Reason for four stars: Shower curtain was too short and caused water on bathroom floor and only three beds for two adults and two children. Apart from that - very nice stay!"

"My family and I arrived a lot earlier than anticipated (before the time allocated) and it was not a problem for them to accommodate us by ensuring that our room was available at the earliest time possible. One could not ask for a friendlier welcome. The service that they provide is top notch and they are to be commended on the effort made to make your stay as comfortable as possible. "I found the flat I was in very comfortable and clean. Was impressed with the house staff as they mainly only entered flat to clean and make bed when I was out so they didn't interfere whilst in the room. Nice idea to have room number on your vehicle dash should you be parked in. All in all an enjoyable stay."
