  "Not only did we enjoy our stay, we will return in the very near future to the same place in Newcastle and use the Marisch Guest House as a base to go Quad Biking in the area. The place is situated in a posh suburb of Newcastle, safe & no traffic noise. You find some exotic plants in the garden, from cactus to some tree trunk overgrown with a beautiful mushroom which makes the most stunning pictures.Breakfast was served with cereals, jam, coffee and then the main course, eggs, mushrooms, sausages, toast... Priced very reasonably, this is the place to go with a party no bigger than 6. Enough parking for bikes or cars in the yard. Thumbs Up from my side!"

  "What a lovely B&B. My husband had an operation to his right eye. His left eye is blind so he could not see at all because of the patch on the right eye. Andries was so helpful. He helped me bring him into the room and to make him comfortable. Also the next morning he helped him at breakfast and to the car. We were very thankful. It was very kind."
