"What a place this was. It has stayed in our minds and we will definitely return. SO much to recommend it, from the lovely clean smell of the sheets to the very big bathroom, to every bit of equipment you could possibly use. The garden is beautifully done and well kept. We watched a family of mongooses sitting in the morning sun, heard and saw a variety of birds singing a happy chorus, chatted to fisherman on the beach, watched a glorious sunset. It felt as though we got to know the place, rather than the feeling of being a tourist who never lifts the veil between you and the locals. What a lovely spot. Highly recommended!"

"Thank you for a wonderful stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. The Southern Right apartment has everything you need. Beautifully decorated, light and airy and a fantastic view. We were warmly welcomed by Leentjie who cooked us a delicious meal on the first night. This place is a must!!!"

The apartment was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the comforts we needed. No doubt this is my new favourite sleepover spot for the West Coast area."

"I am still dreaming about our stay at Whispering Whale. Located in the unique village of Jacobsbaai, we felt like we were in the lap of luxury in our apartment. It was quite a treat for us, after a month on the road, to feel as though we were at home. We were able to have a braai and make our own meals in the well equipped kitchen, and slept very well in the spacious bedroom. The village of Jacobsbaai is very special, with its white houses and sand roads. On our last night we were treated to a magnificent sunset. We could see ourselves staying here comfortably for a month, as there are many things to explore in the area. But it is also just a restful place to relax and watch the sea. A huge thank you to Lynne and Kobus and also to Leentjie for her warm hospitality. This is a very special place, and one of the most memorable places we stayed in our six weeks in South Africa. We are already recommending this place to friends."
