Jacobsbaai is a small picturesque village on the West Coast, still unspoiled with mostly dirt roads and charming West coast style cottages, in closeproximity to Vredenburg, Saldanha, Veldrif, Paternoster, Langebaan,Club Myconos.
The interesting coastline offers peninsulas, rocky andsandy bays and an abundance of crayfish, fish and mussels safe baysfor canoeing and launching boats.
The overwhelming beauty of the Fynbosframed Atlantic Ocean is a hikers, bird lovers and flower gazersdelight with its breathtaking scenes of colourful wildflowers inlate winter and spring Jacobsbaai is often referred to as Namaqualandby the sea.
With wildlife such as duiker, steenbok, jackals, tortoises, so abundant that it makes for eternal viewing during migration seasons.

26 August 2018"We stayed one night in unit 2. Lovely bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Cosy lounge with nice decor. Large fire place (which was welcome s it was a stormy cold night), bring own wood. Good wifi. One little detail that could be improved, no cover from rain outside, we got soaked braaiing. Extra heating options would have been good too as we ran out of wood early evening. Might have been there but could not find. Plenty of blankets available."

19 June 2017"We stayed in Unit 4 at Weskushuis this past weekend. The unit is lovely and very well appointed with everything a couple could need. The owner also provided some thoughtful touches...shower gel; coffee, tea, sugar, milk as well as some lovely fresh apples. The unit is comfortable and a short, pleasant, walk to the ocean. All the necessary tools were provided for a lovely fire or braai (BBQ). It is therefore most unfortunate that when we retired for the night, we could clearly hear the occupants in the adjacent unit; including when they were in the bathroom & while they were using the facilities and preparing for bed. We were also woken up to these sounds...other than that, we have no complaints."

14 January 2014"Best kept secret ever, brilliant place to relax, read a book or take long walks. The accommodations was incredible and everything you could need for a self catering holiday. Attention to detail was amazing and loved all the little personal touches throughout the house. People were very friendly and helpful. Definitely going back but this time for a week not just 2 days."
