"Although we have paid in full before arrival, and had confirmation from Safari Now ,they did not have our booking and they did not know that we were coming. Luckily there was another room available. 1st time ever that has happenend to us, and we do travel quite a bit"

"Staying at the African Vinyard is like experiencing a bit of paradise. Our bedroom was big enough to fit a small house into, with unique furnishings, a lovely fireplace with welcoming sherry, a bathroom out of a magazine and fresh flowers everywhere - even floating in the toilet! Hannes made a hearty oxtail for dinner with all the trimmings and we slept like kings. They deserve 5 stars!"

"We had a wonderfull 2 nights at African Vineyard with our 2 young children. The guest house is more geared towards adult visitors but they put a lot of effort in to accomodate our children and make us all very welcome. The food was very good and served in an extremely attractive garden on a working farm. We would happily recomend African Vineyard to friends and family."

"Really fabulous place - gorgeous farmhouse with various types of rooms, all meticulously prepared and decorated, with all the modern amenities one might want. Really loved the copper piping in the shower and bathroom. grounds are really idyllic as well. A fantastic example of rustic luxuriousness - the perfect complement to a trip in the dusty kalahari. The meals are great as well - don't miss the dinner - as good as any of the top restaurants in Cape Town. We will definitely be back!"
