Each room represents a different African tribe. Relax at the bar, next to our heated indoor swimming pool for 365 days of the year, or soak up the African sun outside. The lodge is ideally located for business and leisure travellers passing through Johannesburg. Luxury Rooms , each with aircon, flat screen, own DStv, and Dvd player. Rooms have own entrance and comes complete with own bath, shower, international shaver adapter hairdryer as well as private telephone. Honeymooners get a special room with flowers and champagne. Wireless internet is available in each room. All rooms are equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities with snacks and a mini bar. We cater for families as well.

We offer conference venue for up to hundred delegates, it is ideally located for delegates wanting to meet close to the airport. (Our rates even include free airport shuttles). We have two air-conditioned conference rooms that can seat up to 30 people U shape, and a smaller boardroom for the more intimate meetings. We offer occasions for wedding. This function can accommodate up to 120 people.

We also accommodate day visitor who needs a room between connecting flights. Our 24-hour shuttle service will gladly drop or collect you as required.

"Unfortunately this place is not a recommendable .The only positive point it was conveniently close to the wedding venue we were from. The TV did not work and the shower was not working properly. The pillows were very uncomfortable. It indicates B&B but they do not provide breakfast"

"When I booked I had a special request for my fiance in the honeymoon suite. On the day of arrival we found out there was no electricity upon asking some of the neighbours it was an issue they were aware of 2 days prior our visit. To top it all off we had to take a cold shower in the morning since the generator did not have gas to me that was appalling for such an establishment. What was meant to be a romantic night turned into a horrible experience we will never forget."

"We received a very warm welcome at the African Tribes Guest Lodge. The room was very well styled and clean. Pieter help us to find the place after we got lost by giving us directions per phone. We got there very late and missed dinner, but they went out of their way to fix us a meal."
