  "Don't appreciate being told that I have a curfew when I have paid to stay somewhere, this should be stated upfront on the listing if it is the case. Had to find alternative accommodation at my own expense since this wasn't fit for purpose."

  "Himlin &amp; his team were very accomodating. I phoned him before check-in time &amp; he was there in 5 minutes to pick us up.<div><br /></div><div>I loved the fact that the room had air conditioning in. Although there were a few channels on tv &amp; the wifi was temporarily off, my Fianc &amp; I had a lovely time there. The little boy living in the house was of great assistance, he readily opened the electric gate for us &amp; took us photo's before we left.</div><div><br /></div><div>If only it were summer, we would have made use of the pool just to cool off &amp; relax. I must say the area is very tranquil &amp; my Fianc &amp; I could walk to the shopping mall/ garage to get food.</div><div><br /></div><div>Thank-you for a lovely stay!   "<p>The stay was unfortunately not please, even left early.there is no signature showing that it is a lodge nearly got lost and the owner or manager was not welcoming at all. the break fast was cold and oily really need to improve and change the photos on the net cause it does not look like that anymore false advertising. The rooms only have one window in the bathroom at least there was a working air-conditioning. </p>"

  "I booked a room for my friend who had a stopover in JNB to fly to Mozambique next day. As promised. Himely was waiting for her at the arrivals when she arrived from Paris. She had a great stay and they really made her feel at safe and at home away from home. I will definitely be staying there on my next trip to Johannesburg.<br /><br />Hlder <br />"

  "We stayed at the Lodge for one night as we had an early flight from OR Tambo. The Lodge was comfortable enough, it was very close to the airport and we had a transfer from the airport to the lodge and back the next morning. The lodge was clean, neat and tidy with coffee/tea facilities in the rooms. we however did not use any of that since we basically just slept for about 4 hours getting off our late flight into Johannesburg."

  "We had one night in Doeny Lodge. They delivered free transport from and to the airport. Nice pool and relaxing area. The room unfortunately did not have an outside window, but we did not mind for one night. Good hospitality and right quality for the price we paid."

  "Perfect for a brief stop over between flights. The room was very clean (except I would have liked a complimentary shampoo). The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was really good to know that trf from and back to airport was done in such a good and again friendly manner and at the time that was requested so no anxiety at all. Breakfast basic but perfect. Thank you to all involved. I would definately use them again should the need arise."

  "I recently stayed at Doeny Lodge, and was honestly treated with nothing short of Royalty. I was respected and entertained at the same time. The meals was first class. I have stayed at many Guesthouses etc and must honestly say that this is by far one of the very best.Thank you Himelin, Betty and Peguy... I hope I spelled that correct :-)And to Michael, thank you for the fantastic gift for Rudi. It is a perfect fit, and he already decided that it is perfect for his work business function that will be happening shortly...I will always recommend Doeny Lodge and Staff wherever I am."

  "I would just like to thank the wonderful staff at Doeny Lodge for the incredible time whilst staying there this week. We came up to JHB from Durban for a funeral and you guys did your best to make us feel comfortable and at home away from home. We simply loved the lodge. The staff are extremely helpful, happy and accommodating. I have stayed at many elite bed and breakfasts in JHB and this was my best stay. Your rates are very reasonable for the service we received. Thank you also for accommodating my fur friend, he was so happy, didn't think he wanted to come back home! Will definitely book again at Doeny - this place is wonderful. Well done guys! Thanks Bheki and Himilane, you are awesome people"

  "I spent one night on transit from Amsterdam to Maputo. The Lodge picked me up from the airport and dropped me again the next morning. Very good service! And the lodge is located next to the airport so the transport did not take much time. Accommodation is good."

  "My name is Mzi. It was my first time at Doeny Lodge and I did not know what to expect. Before I even get there I was already impressed when I called and spoke to Michael about how am I gonna get there. He arranged for me to be picked up, I was very impressed. Nice welcome when I arrived, I was shown my room and he availed himself should I need anything. It was great. I left early before the time I expected so I did not eat the breakfast that I was looking forward to but when I got a call from my roommate I left at the lodge that they took him with a car to the taxi rank, I was left speechless. I'm coming back at Doeny lodge, for a full weekend this time. I never been treated so nice before in a lodge or a hotel as I'm a very outgoing person. Thank you, much love. Big Up!!!"
