Kariega Game Reserve Main Lodge
The Main Lodge comprises 21 spacious and comfortable air-conditioned log chalets, with en-suite bathrooms and private viewing decks. There is a spectacular architectural pub and restaurant that serves traditional South African cuisine under an open-air boma. The lodge and swimming pool are integrated with the surrounding bush.
Located within the Big 5 private game reserve, which is set in a 10 000 hectares of pristine African wilderness, that incorporates the picturesque Kariega and Bushmans Rivers. Kariega offers a combination of Big 5 and general game viewing through an expansive variety of fauna, flora and birdlife. All this is set in a landscape that spans across five different eco systems that offer the most dramatic views and vistas.
In addition to the unforgettable game viewing from open vehicles with qualified game rangers, guests can enjoy a variety of other activities. These activities include guided bush walks, river cruises, canoeing, an overnight bush camp and visits to the nearby beaches of Kenton-on-Sea.
