"Nice small chalet, clean, enough water. We had ants everywhere in the kitchen but that wasnt a pro lem for us"
"it will be nice if Sanparks can allocate a campsite number to a booking"
"The camp presents a real safari atmosphere, especially if you're lucky to find a shaded site under a camel thorn tree. The friendly ground squirrels and birds are pleasant to watch."
"We didn't get to set up camp under atree, which was a huge challenge during the hot days. If camping, get there before 2pm. Don't feed the animals, especially the hyena coming to the fence at night to beg for a bone. Swimming pool deck chairs were super uncomfortable and tattered. No one could use them. Ablutions were always clean. Big issue we had was that there were no guides, so no guided drives or walks - very disappointing! Don't walk around in flip flops at night, saw a couple of the most lethal scorpions, maybe better communicated. Game viewing was ok, because right at the border fences. Nice spot for giraffe. Great shop for meat and deli items across the border - short walk. Ask the officials."
"We stayed two nights at a campsite in Mata Mata and enjoyed the tranquillity and friendliness of fellow campers. The facilities are clean. The bustling activity of the ground squirrels and mongooses held our attention too. However the road between Tweeriveren and Mata Mata is badly corrugated in places."
"Had a great stay. Too short - only one night! Unfortunately we had plenty of rain, but we will return!"
