Twee Rivieren is the parks largest rest camp and administrative headquarters. It is situated on the banks of the Dry Nossob Riverbed. Activities and facilities are diverse, as are the animals and plants found both within the camp and in the surrounding areas.
Twee Rivieren has a reception, a shop, fuel, a restaurant, information centre and swimming pool. This is the only camp with 24 hour electricity and cell phone reception.
Please not this park in on the South African side of the border.
PLEASE NOTE: the rates are subject to the number of adults and children staying. Quotes will include the 1% Community Levy, but will exclude daily conservation fees, which are to be paid directly to camp on arrival.
"Everything was great, we were unfortunate to not get a campsite with electricity, although electrical points were less than 50m away. Keeping things cold become a mayor issue without electricity. I think they should supply all camping sites with electricity."
"A beautiful and tranquil place to aline one's sole again. How ever the service of Now Safari is not that good. Make a booking on 3 Apr 19 for two nights at Twee Rivieren 28 and 29 Jul one night at Mata Mata 30 Jul 19 and then again two nights twee rivieren 31 Jul and 1 Aug 19. The cost for 28/29 Jul 19 was R 725.00 and 31 Jul/ 1 Aug 19 was R625.00 which was paid by credit card on 3 Apr 19. On 27 Jun 19 I discover that there was not booking for 30 Jul 19. I phone and made a booking for 30 Jul 19 and make a payment on 27 Jun 19 to the amount of R357.54 on credit card ref CO NB9179 SCARB. On arrival at Twee Rivieren there was still no booking made at Twee Rivieren or any other camp. I did phone and the operators refere me back to the Apr 3 bookings but could not explain why or what had happened to the booking / payment on 27 Jun 19."
"Courtesy and assistance from reception down to cleaning personnel was outstanding"
"A pleasant campsite to stay in with very friendly personnel at reception and elsewhere in the camp. Game drives were surprisingly pleasant and above our expectations."
"Our first night in the Kgalagadi brought some windy conditions for pitching a tent but we managed and settled down to a braai under the stars. Clean, well managed campsite."
"Had a great stay! Would be nice to find some more tracks for game viewing."
"Our stay was very enjoyable."
