  "We have stayed before, and returned mainly for the location which is very convenient. The gardens are lovely, and although the establishment is in the city of Kimberly, it remains quiet and secluded from the hustle and bustle. The only downside is lack of maintenance on some of the fiittings and furnishings."

  "<div>We are definitely very disappointed for choosing Carrington Lodge. It looks nothing like the website, and it's definitely not tranquil.</div>This is a terrible place to stay.<div>Reception has no personality, we don't know if they served breakfast or dinner?</div><div>So many broken items in the room.</div><div>It's next to a busy road, couldn't get sleep, and the light comes in through the curtains, couldn't leave the aircon on as it sounds like it's on it's last legs. When taking a bath, the cold wind comes in at the window that doesn't close properly.</div><div>Then the next morning they drill and grind outside when you still trying to get some sleep.</div><div>Then when you leave, again no personality.</div><div><br /></div>"

The front desk service was excellent. The daily breakfast was served until 9:30am so we never felt rushed in the morning.   "We were pleasantly surprised. Although the premises and rooms are a bit old fashioned, you have everything you need. The family room was spacious, enough TV channels to keep you entertained, separate toilet with basin, big green lawn to relax and let the kids run wild, secure parking, nice little bar and close to the diamond junction mall. Thanx to Bryan for the hospitality. I recommend this lodge."

  "Carrington Lodge has a more vintage style with wooden floors, antique furniture and quiet ambience that is soothing to the weary traveller. The staff is friendly and booking in is a breeze. It is conveniently situated on the way to the airport and nearby Malls. Highly recommended for those travellers who want peace and quiet and is not set on luxury 5 star accommodation. Very affordable."
