  "I enjoy the peace of Langberg, I believe that the Farm offers value for money as the rooms are spacious and clean. My only issue this time round was that the wifi was not working and that is a big issue for me when I am choosing accommodation. I will be back though, as it is an ideal stopover or short stay for me."

  "We had such high expectations from this esteemed guest farm, but alas, what a disappointment! The room smelt heavily of smoke, the power went out and a generator was used, but was switched off by 9 the evening which meant darkness for the rest of the evening. As for game viewing, no more guided tours are done and the hiking trail is closed. On the telephone we we told that there is a water hole and animals are fed close to our cottage....we saw a total of 3 kudu's. The cottages are also attached to one another so we could hear every word of the couple next to us."

  "We stayed at Langberg for two nights. They have beautiful accommodation. The feeding drive through the Northern Cape landscape was exeptional, where we saw numerous scarce game species which are bred on the farm. We did not want to leave at the end of our stay.   "On returning from our first visit to South Africa staying at a 5 Star Hotel in Cape Town and Various four star hotels and guest houses, my wife and I had no hesitation in agreeing that the Langberg was the favourite place that we stayed on our three week holiday. The accommodation was spacious and had real character and the staff were friendly and caringWe loved the Game drives (thanks to Anja for coming in on her day off to take us). The game drive and dinner arranged for the GB water-ski team was a highlight of the trip. The farm and its staff and facilities were all very special."

  "Hoewel 'n selfsorg eenheid bespreek is, is ons 'n enkelkamer aangebied. Ons het dit nie aanvaar nie en vertrek. Langberg het ons later geskakel en verskoning gemaak. Ons is wel die bedrag terug betaal wat hulle van SafariNow ontvang het. Dit is R47.47 minder as wat ek deur SafariNow betaal het."

  "After travelling nearly 1000 km and a 2h00 delay due to roadworks between Victoria-West and Hopetown, we arrived at Langberg at 19h00 after a 12h00 drive from Cape Town. We where exhausted and hungry. I thought that there was a restaurant on site but was informed that they only had a kitchen but not a restaurant. Nevertheless we where offered a light meal and a bottle of wine with a big smile. This was a great experience at a beautiful lodge. I will probably never stay over at any other lodge when passing through Kimberly. This lodge really is highly recommended! Thank you again!"

  "After the hustle and bustle of Durban and then Johannesburg, Langberg was the perfect end to our holiday. Just a pity we didn't stay longer! A really beautiful, neat and clean place with wonderful staff! The game drive is a must, there was so much to see! Definitely will be going back there in the near future!"

  "The lodge is very impressive, really a game lodge. Our 3 year old daughter told us that she had never stayed in such a beautiful lodge. Excellent equipped kitchen, beautiful spacious rooms and not forget to mention the friendly owners. The owner invited us to go on a nightdrive on their property, which was great. If you are looking for a nice place and you are not in a rush on the N1, go to this lodge as it is great."

  "We arrived on a very hot December afternoon, all irritated after a long day in the car.After a short and efficient check in we were invited to swim in the dam which was a first for the children.It really cooled us.The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated.There were more than enough space for a family of four. The self catering kitchenette was well stocked.We had a nice braai.We didn't even miss a television.It gave us time to bond as a family. We had a most enjoyable stay.Nice and quiet - didn't hear any traffic - out of the hustle of city life. We will definitely be back."

  "Ons verblyf op Langberg Game/ Gaste Plaas was die hoogte punt van ons vakansie.Die ontvangs van die eienaar Tienie, toe ons op die plaas aankom, het ons werklik tuis laat voel, plat op die aarde mense, baie gasvry en gaan uit hul pad om jou welkom te laat voel.Ons het die die heerlikste plaas ontbyt geniet elke oggend en regte boerkos vir aand ete, ons het glad nie eers belang gestel om in die dorp te gaan eet in die aande, baie dankie aan die bestuurderes vir al die lekker boerkos.Ons was op 'n "Game Drive" wat die eienaar ons persoonlik geneem het om al die skaars wildsoorte op die plaas te besigtig, dit was 'n belewenes.Ons het in die plaasdam, wat baie skoon is met boorgat water geswem elke dag en op die staproetes gegaan waar ons enkele meters van Koedoe's af was en dit was net fantasties.Dit was sommer net verskriklik lekker om tussen sulke gawe mense te wees en Kimberley is 'n baie lekker geskiedkundige dorpie en baie om te sien al moes ons dit in 'n paart dae doen was dit net wonderlike uitrus.Ons sal enige tyd weer teruggaan vir 'n lekker uitrus en die boerekos, ek sal sommer elke naweek as dit naby wasBaie, baie dankie vir jule gasvryheid.Groete Stella & Phillip Opperman"
