Oasis Country Lodge boasts luxury and relaxation in the heart of Namaqualand. A mere 2.5 hour drive from Cape Town you'll find the quaint country town of Klawer. Klawer is in the heart of Namaqualand and from mid-July to mid-October you can be sure to view the best-kept secret of Namaqualand, the wild Namaqualand flowers.
The "must do's" of the area can be found within an hour's drive in any compass direction - from whale-watching at the Olifants River mouth in Strandfontein and bird-viewing in the west, to the Maskam Mountain (Little Table Mountain) in the east. To the south you can drive down to Clanwlliam to view tea growing, and to the north you're well on your way to Namibia and more charming flower towns.
"All fine, nothing to add"
"Friendly reception loved the geese! Enjoyed the pool looked so cool after traveling the whole day."
"Were made to feel welcome from the start. The room was comfortable but very noisy as it was close to reception. Furnishing old and drab and the bathroom very dark. The breakfast was very good and we met some lovely guests. To my way of thinking to call it a "Lodge" is a misnomer. Perhaps "Oasis Country B&B " would be more appropriate.<br /><br /><br /><br />"
"Lovely large rooms, lovely swimming pool overall a good place for a stop over."

"We were quite amazed and enjoyed the friendly staff. <br/>We are going to recommend this place to all our friends.<br/>"
"Rooms were clean with welcoming; chocolate and flower on the bed - a nice touch. Very good hearty breakfast. Air-con in room was a bonus for the extreme heat."
"We were greeted by very friendly staff, the rooms were excellent and very comfortable. Hilda and her staff are an asset to the Lodge."
"We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and were impressed with the high ceilinged room with pretty furnishings. The pool area was stunning - it really was an oasis, but unfortunately the pool was to dirty to swim in. No other guests were staying and we were completely alone in the large building. There was nowhere to eat nearby and nothing endearing about the town. We ended up buying cold cuts from the small local supermarket. There was a fridge in the room which was a bonus. A microwave would have been a bonus."
"A wonderful two night stay, bed and breakfast -- and it was perfect from the clean room to the food and to the perfect hostess. Thank you Hilda and staff we will recommend Oasis as a stopover."
