5th Avenue 171 is situated in the peaceful village of Kleinmond and offers guests a choice of self-catering flats. Guests can relax in the lovely garden and enjoy the mountain views or cool off in the enclosed sparkling pool. A separate shallow pool is also available as a children's pool.
Guests can choose between the Pool Side Flat, the Sea Breeze Flat or the Mountain View Flat, as well as the Sea Shell Room which is available on its own or with one of the flats. All units are fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery. All units have lounge areas, some have sleeper couches; and braai facilities are available. The Sea Shell Room only has a fridge, microwave, kettle and TV. All four units are equipped with TVs and have en-suite bathrooms with either a shower or bath; linen and towels are provided.
The coastline is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, with various walking trails, ample scuba diving, snorkelling, river rafting, sand and surf sports. Guests can play a round of golf at Kleinmond Golf Course or visit the renowned Arabella Golf Course which is only 7 km away.

22 February 2021"although we had to move our date for ourbooking, we enjoyed every second spending here. the owners are so kind, friendly. the accomodation was like hotel style. clean and everything we needed. from the braai area, the swimmingpool, the flat itself. exta treats like a little soap on the bed. the small things that a person sometimes forget home like dishwash liquid, washing peggs, everything was supplied for a perfect relaxing time. well spent<br/>we can anytime advise other people to go and stay in one of their flats. <br/>our little monster of 4 was even looked after with kindness and could help watering the veggies and got treated like its their own grandchild. <br/>we will most definately go back to stay.<br/><br/>Establishments response:<br/><br/>Baie dankie Sanet vir die goeie terugvoering wat ons ontvang het. 12 January 2017"We spent a few days at 5th Avenue 171....what a lovely place....very clean and the owners warmly welcomed us...after check-in the owners had to leave but left us a contact person who also attended to our needs...this place is really lovely will definitely go back there again, had a great stay...only downside is there is no under roof parking...car stands in the sun and outside the yard but the owner assured us it was a safe area.. Thank you Dudley & Marieta and especially Hannah.<br/>"

19 August 2013"Expensive for the accommodation offered. Flat hadn't been aired out in weeks. Garden and grass was unkept. Owners son had a wild party on Saturday night. I left as soon as I could on Sunday morning."
