"Safe pet friendly country place with game and horses with plenty of trails and dam to enjoy with family and pet. Clean and well decorated chalet , hosts are friendly and showed us around upon arrival. Very near town, yet you are in the country . Enjoyed our stay and will return in future."

"We were visiting family and stayed 7 nights. Basic facilities but it provided what we were looking for - a pet friendly stay in the bush, on the fringes of town, away from family, close to safe cycling roads and we basically enjoyed our stay. We did feel however that it was perhaps a bit overpriced based on our experience but if one is inclined, you do have some game roaming around the reserve. Owners very friendly."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Country House, the place should be called a Nature reserve as it has lots of animals to view. It is a very quite, relaxing environment, the facilities, rooms and the views are great. Hiking was also great, safe and we managed to view lots of animals, we looked forward to each morning to explore the vast land. Konnie and her hubby were very friendly and welcoming we really enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave. We will definitely be returning to this place."
