Villa de la Rosa Guest House is an elegant guest house ideally situated in Klerksdorp in the heart of the North West Province.

This lovely guest house offers guests a choice of nineteen comfortably furnished rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are furnished with a combination of double and single beds and the en-suite bathrooms have showers only. Air-conditioned for comfort, each room is equipped with a TV with DStv and tea and coffee facilities. One room also has a family room where guests can relax. Meals are available on request and at an additional cost.

Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining room or in the lovely garden. Those looking to explore can stroll along the streets which are lined with historic buildings, go on the Ou Dorp hiking trail through the older parts of town or visit the distillery. Various nature reserves can be visited in the area including the Faan Meintjies Nature Reserve, just 13 km from Klerksdorp. A wide range of restaurants and golf courses can also be found in the area.

"Upon arrival my booking could not be found even though I fully paid in advance on SafariNow. After sending a picture of the receipt to the receptionist we were taken to a room.<div><br /></div><div>The first room we were taken to was dirty, run down and smelled bad. I requested to move to a new room and was taken to a second room which also smelled terrible. I was then taken to a 3rd room which was clean enough and smelled good enough to be tolerable for one nights sleep.</div><div><br /></div><div>Upon wanting to take a shower we discovered some of the towels had horrific stains on them and did not appear very sanitary so we had to use our own towels.</div><div><br /></div><div>The staff however were friendly, what requests we did have were catered to and the room had a working TV, a fridge and an aircon.</div><div><br /></div><div>I would not stay at this place again though...</div>"

"I stayed here for 2 nights. The roomappeared clean, but no extras like shower gel etc. There were 2 coffee sachets, a kettle and microwave. The room was not serviced. The staff appeared very dis-interested. It was nothing special."

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the place is quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our two nights there although the bed needs to be replaced because the springs are almost bare. Clean and comfortable stay overall. Improve on the parking and since the yard has space, a pool would be a great investment. Will be coming again soon."

"The worst kept guestroom we have ever been in! The toilet seat was broken in half, the cold water tap at the basin did not work,the bathroom door could not close properly - basic stuff!Electrical fixtures horrific - no light covers, extension leads hanged over existing light fittings, etc. We'vetaken photos should you wish to see it for your own eyes."

"Gastehuis glad nie op standaard nie. Instandhouding dringend nodig. Badkamerdeur stukkend. Kan nie eers toemaak nie. Geen bedliggies nie.Onvoldoende koffie sakkies. Dubbelkamer slegs 1 sakkie. Gelukkig net 1 nag oorgebly.Plus punte. Lekker matras, warm water en die kamer was skoon. Kna ongelukig geen ster gee."
