"I enjoyed moving around Kokstad to see the whole town. I expected a small and semi-rural settlement and a poorly serviced rural village. No, Kokstad has it all; all know big brands the shops we see in Gauteng; respecting people and a lot of preserved history. Its neat and lovebeable.I did not like my guest house. Above everything it was the most noisy stay I have ever had. The busy main road was just less than 100 meters from my pillow when I tried to sleep. On the first day I could not sleep as some cars were passing at bullet speed making the most highest noise imaginable. When I wanted to negotiate some complications about my duration of stay the staff said the owner is only coming on Monday and there is nothing they can say to me. I just had to use my discretion on behalf of that absent owner.Although the gates are kept locked they are not manned. When I tried to leave at around 4am I had to wait for 40 minutes with an idling engine and even blowing my hooter at some stage. Ultimately one staff member came and unlocked the gate. I was 30minutes late when I arrived at my appointment."

"The abovementioned B&B is not up to scratch. Would not recommend it to anybody."
"We stayed over at Ingwe for one night. The service was poor and our room was not cleaned prior to our arrival."
