  "I had booked a Deluxe Room with breakfast, dinner and 2 game drives, however when I got to the lodge I was told I have to pay for those separately. It would appear that it's just an advertising gimmick that they are included in the price."

  "We stayed at Bucklers 2 nights to explore the south of Kruger Park and it was just wonderful. We had breakfast looking at the elephants and hippos in Crocodile River. Although we had reserved a standard room, they offered us a cottage for the same price when we arrived, as there were noisy people staying in the room next to us. It was just a dream, the furniture, the bed, all decorated with a real good taste in an African style. Its been one of the best places where weve stayed during our trip around South Africa."

  "An absolutely excellent place to stay. Comfortable and friendly with easy access to the Kruger although we saw so much from the garden (including an elephant feeding within touching distance) that the Kruger almostbecame an added extra."

  "We spent the weekend at Bucklers Africa & were upgraded to the two bedroom unit which was fantastic & very private. We watched hippos, elephants & rhinos while we were swimming!Just a quick 5 minute drive to Crocodile Bridge & you're in the park.We will definitely be back!"

  "This was a very nice stay. If I ever come back to South Africa, I will go to this place. We enjoyed it very much, sitting outside and watching the animals. We saw hippos, rhinos, elephants and buffaloes. We had all what we need, a kitchen, a braai, a pool - it was a wonderful time."

  "Bucklers Africa I would recommend to anyone who wants a tranquil environment where they can put their feet up and relax. Sit on the deck and watch Elephants, Buffalo and Hippos and let it take their eyes and thoughts away from the Outside world. The staff are very friendly and helpful at all times. And what took me by surprise is their cosy little honesty bar. Dont see that kind of trust anywhere. Also it was the first place where we were greeted on arrival at our vehicle, escorted around the facility all the way to our beautiful chalet.<br/>I will most definitely book with them in the near future. <br/><br/>Thank you Bucklers Africa for a very relaxing weekend"

  "We travelled to Komatipoort last Friday and the stay at Buckler's Africa was very nice! We will be there again next month, for sure! This is a place to relax and maybe see the Big 5! When we were having breakfast, we saw two rhinos close to the lodge. It was fantastic!"

  "The accommodation was very clean, well set up, comfortable and well serviced.The views were stunning and we often had the opportunity to sit at our table and watch a nursery of ellies come to the river on a daily basis.It is situated in a good position close enough to Crocodile bridge and not too far up the dirt road.The owner was very accommodating and genial.The good thing about the lodge is that it is not too big so you do not have millions of people milling around however some guests could learn good bush etiquette."

  "Absolutely a wonderful stay in a little bit of ''god's own'' would recommend Bucklers to anyone wishing to find a truly relaxing spot in Southern Kruger only minutes away from the Crocodile gate. The property is first class as was our host Robert who nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very much at home here.Robert also sorted out safaris and travel arrangements for us during our stay. Superb accommodation, we did the bed and breakfast arrangement the food was excellent. You can relax by the pool or on the deck in lovely grounds and view the game come down to the river only metres away. We had a fantastic time here and this one would be a challenge for anyone to top.   "It was a wonderful stay, Robert is just perfect, his friendliness and hospitality is excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean, very nice furnitures, and the rest of the lodge is the same. The location is perfect, the back garden is really Kruger, the gate is in a few minutes drive only, very easy access. The home made breakfast was also excellent, very good start of the day. Perfect accommodation with family if you would like to visit the south part of Kruger. One of the best stay in our life, and definitely the best value for money. "

  "I traveled with my wife and 2 children age 7 and 12. We had a wonderful stay in a self catering apartment. The lodge, garden, deck and pool suited our needs perfectly as we wanted to enjoy the bush and travel into Kruger Park every day.Buckler's offered us a perfect combination of:1.   "Buckler's Africa is situated ideally for trips to the Krüger, Swaziland or Mozambique. For us it was a brilliant alternative to the rest camps within the park, which were all fully booked. Problematic we found the 4 km dirt road which we drove in complete darkness - you have to be very careful with potholes!!The grounds are beautiful and that the Krüger is the back garden is really true!! We saw elephant and buffalo closeby from the terrace - really incredible! Our self catering option had everything we needed - from the style we felt a bit like the "flintstones" with the big wooden furniture :-)"

  "Bucklers Africa, a 4 star guest lodge overlooking the Crocodile river has wonderful setting and is a great place to unwind after a day in the park.The Luxury units are fully equipped for self catering, very neat and have a warm African décor, which puts you into the safari mood. Sunrise at Bucklers Africa is a beautiful site, not to be missed.Breakfasts can be prebooked and enjoyed on the patio overlooking the river.Robert is a friendly host and very informative. Being strategically placed for trips into the KNP aswell as Maputo in Mozambique, Andrew can arrange this for you too.Staff are friendly and service is great. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.Thank you, Robert"

  "I wanted the stay to be extra special as my family was over from Scotland.The very first day we arrived and walked through the entrance, there was a large herd of elephant on the river bank - with babies!!!What a welcome.We also saw lions on a kill - ALL THIS FROM BUCKLER'S AFRICA'S BACK GARDEN - WE DID NOT EVEN NEED TO GO INTO THE KRUGER PARK.The accommodation was fantastic and Robert and Nelia went out of their way to make our stay absolutely fantastic.Thank you for a truly unforgettable holiday!!!The Robersons"
