It is the destination for tourists from all over the world looking for accommodation on their way to the Kruger National Park, Mozambique and Swaziland. Our views are second to none, with the Kruger National Park and Mozambique in plain sight.

We offer a brand new guest house, with emphasis on a bushveld atmosphere, while still enjoying comfort and upmarket facilities. We strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Facilities include air-conditioned, en-suite double rooms with DStv. There is also a self-catering family unit sleeping up to four. This unit has a kitchenette, full bathroom, DStv in the sitting room and a big private veranda.

Sit on the veranda and gaze at the game reserve, with giraffe, buffalo, impala and the occasional elephant in plain view. From sunset the snorting of the hippos can be heard, and at dawn the rushing of the Croc River's waters mingle with the early calls of the many birds.

  • "Beautiful home, welcome stay"

    29 March 2016

"We were warmly welcomed to Meerkat Manor. The owners were very helpful. The rooms are clean and well looked after. We had a room on the first floor which overlooked Komatipoort, lovely views. Would stay here again."

  • "Disappointing"

    25 December 2015

"<div>After a long trip in the heat I was expecting more for the price. With advertised fantastic views, air conditioning and DSTV we expected a great stopover. The furnishings are top notch, people friendly and hospitable. But...there is no view; air conditioning is restricted to the kids room - not adequate for whole space; DSTV is a cut down version limited to re-runs; hot water is powered by a gas geyser which is not compatible with the shower which means alternates between scalding hot and cold.</div>"

  • "Stayover"

    08 July 2013

"We used Meerkat Manor as a stayover to Inhambane in Mozambique. The hosts were friendly and the guest house was excellent in all aspects."
